Long post means more details which will enable us to help you more. Good job on that.

The issue with proof of funds.

You are required to show the 4 months bank statement.
Kung ipapasa man sayo sana do it sooner para may lamang $25,000 ang account mo.
Basta makita lang na meron kayong funds kasi at the port of entry tatanungin ka kung nasan yung pang tuition mo. Kung nabayaran mo na yung tuition mo bago ka lumipad pakita mo yugn official receipt ng school if not pakita mo na dala mo.

Another issue na pwede lumabas at kailangan mo sabihin sa SOP (statement of purpose) is kung bat ka walang travel history tapos isingit mo lang ang lines na "I did not break any immigration law nor have any intention to do so in the future".
Another is you have 1yr experience and tingin nila its not long enough so if possible makahingi ka sa higher ups niyo ng certification or agreement na after ng 2 yrs course mo uuwi ka at bibigyan ka ng position ng company.
Thanks po for the reply!!! :D

Haha. Pwede po ba yun? Since may affidavit of support naman. :)
And I don't think mabibigyan po ako nung certificate from the office na bibigyan nila ako ng work after ko magaral.

May another question pa po ako. Hehe. My dad already has a US visa kaya kami na lang po ang nagapply. Huhu

Seems like you're all set! Just make sure that all requirements are met. There might be new rules now so be cautious if there are any and some of our experiences shared might not apply anymore :)

Thank you for your help sir.

anyways. is it advisable na sabay na po kami mgapply for visa or una yung applicant?
in my opinion isabay niyo po asawa niyo kasi malaking tulong if ever, kasi pwede siya mag work full time sa kahit anong trabaho as long as qualified siya (it is essentially an open work permit).

Education: Business Economics (cum laude) graduate from UP -- I graduated 2015

Employment History: I've been working as an Analyst in Finance for 1.6 years in an international bank (german bank which has an office here in Manila)

Proof of funds: My aunt who is working in US will sponsor my education and living expenses sa canada. She's a green card holder naman. We will pass affidavit of support, her bank statement, and a photocopy of her green card. And she will transfer na the amount of my tuition fee (CAD$ 12500) to my personal account before I apply.
Then I'm planning to also show my bank statement. Para makapag paenroll once i got the student visa.
Then gagawa din ng affidavit yung cousin ko na sakanya ako titira on my stay sa Canada.

**Sorry po for the long post. I'm just really worried on how I can get my visa approved. I'm mostly worried dun sa proof of funds. :( Hope you guys can give suggestions or comments :) THANK YOU!!
german bank as in deutsch bank? :p

SOP is statement of purpose also know as study plan. Application for study permit is a case to case basis. It will also depend on the visa officer that will review your case. If they look at your background and data they will decide that you are a genuine student. What if base on the officer's assumption you are not a genuine student because something is off. There is interview for Student visa so you will be rejected right away. Now you are rejected since your uncle is an immigration officer he can make an appeal for your case. This is why applicants submits SOPs. In case the officer is not convince you are a genuine students you have an explanation why things are like that. It is your responsibility to give as much evidence as possible. If he thinks your case is good enough then don't worry about it. He knows what he is doing.
Hi kapatid,

Thank you so much for the feedback per issues I have raised, can I have a samples of SOP. - lib5519@yahoo.com

Thank you again. :)

Hello po sa lahat, patulong po sana.

I applied last week to BCIT sa Master's program nila and they replied the other day that my WES evaluation on my Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is just a 3 year diploma which falls short sa requirement ng BCIT na minimum 4 year degree for master's program. They advised me to go for ICES evaluation but not sure kung mababago ang resulta, considering na mahal ang assessment and it would take about 7 weeks.

For background:
1. I have two credential - 1 is Bachelor in Civil Engineering and 1 is Vocational certificate in Dental Technician
2. My 5 year BS Civil Engineering degree was assessed by WES as equivalent to 3 year diploma
3. My 1 year vocational diploma is not assessed by WES

If I will submit for assessment my vocational diploma + Bachelor's degree - is there a chance that ICES evaluation for my Bachelor's degree will be equivalent to a 4 year degree? What are the chances?

Thanks po in advance!

Last thing - any suggestion from experienced people here, specially yung mga civil engineer - what course have you taken sa canada (specifically BC) and what school, baka I might follow the same or makakuha ng bago direction. I have an application also sa UBC - also still waiting for the result.

Thanks in advance :)

You are the main applicant so probably it will follow the 6 weeks procedure.
I'm not 100% sure since i'm still a student for immigration, but if you apply alone, which have a higher chance of getting approve, you can get your husband later on a temporary visitor visa.

Exceptions: Studying without a study permit

In some cases, minor children do not need a study permit to study in Canada. These cases include:

minor children attending kindergarten;
minor children who are refugees or refugee claimants, or whose parents are refugees or refugee claimants; and
minor children who are already in Canada with parents who are allowed to work or study in Canada, and who want to attend pre-school, primary or secondary school.

You don't need a study permit for your 10yrs old.

Ang labanan kasi dito is the duration mo sa school. Dito k-12 so any education laging may -2 years. If yung vocational mo is 1yr they might include it. In short naka 6 yrs ka sa post secondary which makes it 4yrs. I suggest you include it.
I have a civil engineering cousin with 5+ yrs exp in the field and she is currently taking Engineering drafting and design technology in SAIT. It's a 2yrs course and she pass the student visa process smoothly because her choice of education here is an "upgrade" to her education.
