timeline: Apr 20 - lodged application, Apr 21 - application forwarded to Canada Visa Office Manila
should i need to worry? hehe the agony of waitinggggg. anyway, saan po tayo pwedi magmonitor ng status ng application natin, besides just waiting for emails or sms? thank you.

Hi, I received my study permit approval but why does the letter says validity 2017/09/15? and Must Enter Canada 2017/09/15?

I send the requirements right and explain to them that I'm attending University of Manitoba this Fall 2016. AND it was weird that I got this letter telling me that my validity is 2017? pwede po ba mareklamo toh sa Embassy?

Hi everyone! I just received an email stating that my application is approved. Thank you Lord talaga. Here's my timeline:

App submitted: March 10 2016 (VFS Manila)
App received: March 11 2016
Med request: March 19 2016
Med done: March 30 2016 (SLEC BGC)
Med results submitted to CEM: April 12 2016
Visa issued: April 28 2016

For those who are still waiting, keep on praying!!! Dont lose hope.

Hi congrats! I just wanna ask if the auto email that you received from them is nakalagay for this year? 2016? I got mine but it was weird cuz it says 2017!!! but my application is for 2016 and my starting date is on September 2016

Hi! Congrats too! Mine was 2018. I think the date stated there was the expiry date for the student permit.

Hi Blairxxx, ngayon lang nag sink in sa utak ko ung sa letter hahaha yup it is the expiry date of the study permit haha nalito lang ako kasi may (mm/dd/yy) nakalagay tas blanko pa alang 2016 so nalito ako LOL... wah congrats satin!!!!!

Congrats! Madami na kayo naapprove, nakakainspire naman. I just had my speaking exam yesterday so malayo layo pa ang tatahakin ko. Lol! Hoping for the winter intake next year. Share naman kayo ng tips. How much show money did u put on your account?

So far wala pa ako nababasa who are applying/applied for a Social Work course. NGO kasi ang present line of work ko and I was told na there is a demand for workers in CA now. Problema lang I was a year late in applying. I have exhausted universities that I am interested in and lahat once a year intake lang ever September ang Social Work program at ang deadlines ay either January or Feb.

More time to read and prepare for me. I am particularly interested in Thompson Rivers University dahil may Williams Lake, BC campus sila. Andun kasi ang titirahan ko kung sakali. Anyone going somewhere close?

Problema lang I was a year late in applying. It means exactly as it is stated. Meaning- validity yan ng visa mo tapos u must enter canada before 2017/09/15 anytime in that date basta before.for example if gusto mo ipa move mo un intake mo to january valid pa rin ung visa mo kasi puede ka pang pumasok sa canada kasi hindi pa 2017/09/15... Ganyan naman lahat ng mga visa in any countries merong enter before ......... Anyway congrats po and chill dont worry about it ul be fine... Anyway again, one year lang ba course mo?

Hi Lei, thank you sa pag explain nagets ko n lht! yup one year lang sa University of Manitoba tas dun nalang cguro ako mag decide if I want to take Master's Degree or avail the Post Grad Permit agad. Mmm pag kasi nag work ka for 6 months and may offered na long term full time job qualify ka na sa PR eh so yun sana target ko hehe
