Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Yup sa IVC ako. actually they will offer you both. yung Red river college and VIPM it's all up to you to decide po the money neede? not too much naman cause everything is paid in half while you are here and the other half kapag nasa canada na po.

what made you decide na sa VIPM ka? anong course mo? sabi kasi nung nakausap ko less daw ang refusal kapag publicly funded yung school and sa manitoba pwede raw marefund up to 60% ng tuition kapag nagwowork ka na. marami ka ba kasabay na nagapply sa VIPM?

Talaga dun ka din...nice! I will take two-year diploma program. Since my interest is in business at nagwork din ako sa Taiwan as a Sales Specialist, i prefer business courses like General Business (Newnham Campus), Marketing (Markham Campus) or International Business (Newnham Campus). di ko pa tlaga sure kasi wala pang sinasabi yung consultant ko... I need to know their suggestion also....Sana makaabot ako sa January 2013, pero I think hindi na siguro kaya kasi wla pakong IELTS and Im having problem with my showmoney :-[ :-[

Mag aapply ako siguro mga first week of October, kasi uuwi palang ako sa Philippines tomorrow tapos kukuha pa ko ng NBI clearance. Pero all is well naman, hawak ko na yung offer letter from the college.

Magkano po ang processing fee ng IVC? Baka kasi pag nakuha na nila pera eh ung mga bagong applicant naman ang pansinin kesa sayo na nagbayad na.

Hi! depende kase sa mapapagusapan nyo po about the fees and all. It's better po kung magpaconsult na po kayo sa IVC, their services are good and people there are very accomodating!

VIPM offers the course that best suit me po. Nurse kase ako and i am very much intrested in management kaya i am taking post health care management sa mga kasabay ko po? Hopefully I have pero havent met them yet.

ah..ok. nurse din ako kaso di ko pa alam course na kukunin ko. di pa rin ako nakakapunta sa ivc for consultation kasi dalawa kami ng friend ko n may balak mag-apply kaso may mga tinatanong pa siyang kakilala na nasa canada kung ano best option. anyway, ano mga hiningi na proof funds?

no notification at all po, as to my partner's case po.
unlike FSW, lagi may email to notify ka what's going on with your papers. pero for student permit - all we did was to wait.
i think kasi sobrang short lang naman yung waiting time. like in the philippines 2-3months, you will already know the decision.
whether for MEDICAL REQUEST OR (wag naman sana) REFUSED... or sometimes INTERVIEW / ASK FOR ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS...

for him, it was really a fast and smooth flow...

nakareceive na pala ako feedback from embassy, they are asking for additional reqmts. i'm relieved nasa kanila na papers ko.

@ kyle saan pong school at anong course inapply ng partner mo? in vancouver po ba? I am currently applying also for a SP in Canada. sa VIPM po ako. My papers are currently on process. Sobrang thumbs up nga ang IVC. They're very accomodating.

i have missed a lot for the past days. nako sorry wasn't able to reply agad. actually it's not me... it's my partner who is applying. im pregnant kasi so i choose to stay muna, then later on, once naka settle na si hubby... sunod narin kami.

im happy to know na you are going on the same institute. matagal ko na nga gusto sana maghanap ng kasama si hubby para atleast may kasama siya pinoy once he get there. we are both nurses - it is important talaga that the course should match to your previous education. kasi super strict sa assessment. yung previous post ko nakwento ko how arrogant and doubtful the visa officer was as to asking kung bakit yun ang course na kinukuha niya. im glad my hubby defended it well. (praktisado kasi!) haha! ayun, after all the visa officer had a kind heart naman pala, and 3days after interview MEDICAL REQUEST na...

are you for OCTOBER INTAKE too? what part of the processing are you into now?

definitely not.
IVC is really a trusted consultancy firm. they've been in the industry for decades. and you will really feel their intention of helping you out once you commit with them. pag nag apply ka, you will be assigned to a visa processor. our attorney has a good expertise na sa pag process. gamay na nila ginagawa nila. now it's up to you kung gano ka kabilis mag comply sa lahat ng papers mo na need. and all...

hindi naman sa sobrang inaadvertise ko sila, but you know, it was really a GREAT HELP that we chose them. no hassle. no delays. right on time lahat. saka nako, kung makulit ka mag follow up sa sobrang excitement mo pumuntang canada, mas dobleng kulit sila mag ff-up sayo. hehe! NO REGRETS... as of now, naghihintay nalang kami na isubmit ng nationwide ang medical result. so far okay naman lahat, 1 week palang kasi. so i really cant say at this point... 2-3 weeks kasi before submit daw sila sa embassy...

it's your choice talaga... they say a good decision results to a good ending... TRUST IN THE LORD AND NEVER DOUBT

yes they have a P2,500 consultation fee. unlimited questioning. assessment of your paper. and all.
anyway, pag naman gusto mo na avail services nila, you no longer need to have that consultation. diretsyo na agad sa processing.
as long as confident ka sa documents you have, like wala ka ba previous applications that was denied, enough ba ang proof of funds mo, do you have any ties here in the philippines to make your application stronger, do you have any relatives or family member that can sponsor your studies, complete ba lahat school requirements mo, and most of all... did you sit for your IELTS exam and received the results na. may score din dapat na ma satisfy mo (im not really sure, pero alam ko dapat wala lower than 6.0 in all categories

if in case you can show all these, then you are good to go...
go to them and let your papers be processed at once na. minsan kasi kakadelay, baka mamaya may bagong rules narin ang SP application. tulad yung nangyari sa FSW reset. the last intake for this year is OCTOBER, the next will be JANUARY na.

by the way, if you are asking for processing fee. it really varies... like ilan ba kayo? sino kasama? full payment? stuggard payment?
andami kasi consideration. kaya it's best talaga to approach them. iba kasi case namin, we paid for FSW at first then decided to take this option so may mga adjustment. malay mo makahirit ka pa ng discount...
