Yung sa amin po,In my case po, when I got the request letter, same day nagpasa din po ako. The next day, decision made na po kami.

Aug 20 nag update po sa system na “the additional documents you provided have been uploaded”
Aug 22 nag update po ulit sa system na “we are reviewing the additional documents you have provided”

Be careful with BDO. Nagkaproblema ako dyan bago ako pumunta na canada. I’m from Ilocos Norte po, pero tinatanong kasi nila kung bakit daw po address ko dito sa Pinas ang ilalagay ko sa Beneficiary’s Address, sa Field59 po. Naka-print po ‘yong ni-send ng Scotia na info pero ayaw pa din po kasi baka ma-reject lang daw po sa head nila.
Pinapabalik po ako pero dapat daw po may proof or explanation po ako na address ko talaga dito sa Pinas ang magagamit, and kung may mga successful na daw po bang gumawa nun at anong branches daw po ng BDO.
Help naman po sa mga nakapag-successful wire transfer na through BDO po.

We submitted the whole application, paper based at VFS Makati. If you already submitted your application, and got a request letter, you have to follow the instructions given to you po. You can't send it directly to the office unless it is instructed to you.How did you submit via paper based?
My application is online and I also got a request for an NBI letter of explanation. My problem now is that when I try to upload the NBI letter, I get this error:

Be careful din sa details. Beneficisry info, swift code, acct num and the alike. Yung address for field 59 should be a canada address where you will stay. In case na bumalik yan (wag naman sana), you should have a dollar acct since naka usd yan pagbalik and it will take 7to10 banking days bago bumalik yan sa branch from tha day scotiabank return your money. Hassle. All the best!
Saang branch po ng BPI?Hi!
Share ko lang, I processed my GIC at BPI. Less hassle sa kanila. In my case, they only asked for a copy of my LOA and a copy of the list of requirements for a study permit (GIC account should be in the list of requirements). Screenshot ko lang from my phone then print and handed it to the assisting BPI officer. Alam na rin nila ang process nang pag transfer. Bigay mo lang yung instructions provided by Scotiabank.
