Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Hello, I just got through this long convo sa furom nato and it is indeed helpful. Im also planning for admission to George Brown College in Toronto for September 2019. Culinary Skills Program (1 year) po kukunin ko sana. Eligible xa for PGWP and nasa DIL un school na nacheck ko. So far ready na yung funds ko for 1 year admission along with the required budget for the allowance. For now, my only concern is I am a graduate of Business Management and may previous certification ng Culinary Arts from an institution jan sa Manila last 2009. I was able to practice my culinary skills from 2008-2013 however from 2013-present nasa admin line of work na ako.. malaki pa rin ba chance ma approve ako ng SP for my chosen program in canada even though yung experience related sa course ko dun is 5 years ago pa?

Gaano katagal po kmuha ng bank statement at certificate sa BDO or BPI?1 day lang po ba? Hahabol ko sana yung personal bank docs ko. May sponsor kasi ako.

Ang wife ko po kinabukasan nya nakuha bank cert at statement nya sa BDO

Hi I got refused today. My case is I’m currently here na sa Canada as a visitor and I applied for SDS. These are the grounds bakit na-refuse yung application ko.

1. have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to pay the tuition fees for the course or program of studies that you intend to pursue
2 have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to maintain yourself and any family members who are accompanying you during your proposed period of study
3. have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to pay the costs of transporting yourself and any family members who are accompanying you to and from Canada.
4. purpose of visit
5. employment prospects in country of residence
6. personal assets and financial status.
Other reasons:
In addition, please note you do not qualify for the SDS because you did not provide evidence of payment of the first year tuition fees.

All my financial funds ay manggagaling sa Kuya ko na PR dito sa Canada. I submitted his bank statements. Accountant ako sa Pinas but I resigned already and I’m gonna take up Financial Services sa Humber College this January. I paid the 1st sem tuition fee already.

What should I add when I re-apply? Wala akong prospect na employer sa Pinas.
Should I also pay the whole 1st year instead na 1 sem lang?

Yes. I’m working on to pay the 2nd sem narin. Hindi naman sa hindi pwede, preferably lang dapat sa home country. I think pwede naman mag-apply from here according sa CIC website. Meron ako sinubmit na SOP, pero I think I need to convince them more na plan ko umuwi. Kapag nag re-apply ako do I need to say sa SOP ko na I was refused and re-applying?

Di na po kelangan ilagay sa SOP, pero sa application form po kelangan po. Mention mo lang boss yung job opportunities dito sa atin. Saka po kung may properties ka po dito at mga close relatives.
