Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Yun nga po kasi my parents migrated back in 2009 and di naman din ni kelangan ng MMR vaccine, eh since we weren't given a choice at sabi kelangan yan with certificate eh nagpabakuna nalang kami.

If may anak po kayo, the MMR will be useful when they will be updating the child's shots. Useful in a sense na hindi na tuturukan ulit si baby for that. Pero libre naman if kelangan turukan provided namay OHIP/healthcard na kayo Pero better be safe than sorry nalang din po for the MMR. Hindi po siya hiningi for me, my wife nor my son. Pero sa clinic, hinanap po.

Best is to mention the funds especially kung ang majority ng laman ni account is yung galing sa brother ninyo po. Mas ok din po kung tumagal sana ng 6 months yung pera sa inyo. Otherwise, basta po maganda ang explanation and may sulat sa kapatid ninyo, ok naman dapat po yun. Ako po walang natarize ni isang document noon.

Since sinend na niya yung pera lolobo account mo. Red flag sa VO yun. You have to present it well sa SOP.
Kung kapatid magssponsor may affidavit of support yan. Magpapakita rin ng bank statement yun at dapat nakita yung pagbawas ng pera. Kahit 4k lang account niya kung siya pa rin mag proprovide ng accomodation mo then he need to provide an affidavit of support.

Pero sa case ninyo po, the more documents you can provide, the better po para hindi na mag isip ng kung anu anu yung hahawak ng papel ninyo po. For example, yung SOP namin para sa PR is 22 pages hehe

Apply by yourself if possible po and then kung gusto ninyo isama si spouse, saka ninyo siya ipa apply. If student po kayo, i think mandatory sa lahat ng school na kumuha ng insurance. Pwede ninyo po ipadadgdag si mister ninyo in the future. And just to keep positive, meron nga po tayo member dito na may butas sa puso, pero na approve sa 2nd try niya.

Keep in mind though that typical insurance only covers medicine, some dental, some shoes and eyeglasses yata. Best is to have your husband work and on his third month, pwede na kayo magka health card kasi hindi cover ng school insurance ang check up ng doctor

sir, nun nag-apply ka po ng study permit, si misis ay working pa kaya nakapagprovide pa po ng letter of support?
then, nung in-apply po si misis ng owp at na-approve siya, nagresign na siya sa work? tama po ba pagkaintindi sa scenario?

Just my humble opinion lang po, PNPs can be halted or postponed anytime. Best is to check where the career path you will take will have lots of opportunities. Tapos base your decision doon po. I noticed lots of applicants are already thinking of their PGWP and PR already. While it's good to plan ahead, be realistic first and plan a good career path/strategy. I have 5 classmates with honors na hanggang ngayon wala pa work considering na may atleast 5 years work experience na sila sa home countries nila and speak good english. Yung dalawa sa kanila sa tim hortons nagtatrabaho, 3 months na kami graduate pero wala pa sila work. and for EE track, CEC po ang pasok ng international students so job offers are not much of a factor kasi pgwp holder po kayo by that time. UNLESS bago na ang rules ngayon which i do not read about anymore. Yung ibang co-seniors po natin is lumipat din ng provinces for better opportunities so it is not that wise to tie your decision sa province po.

Hello po. When you submitted your papers sa NAIT, ang pinadala mo sa kanila is coriginal IQAS result? via courier, right? May WES ECA na kasi pero the original is with my consultant/representative. Dapat original ang ipapadala, right? Hindi pwedeng photocopy lang?

Aside from the IQAS, nagpadala ka pa din ng original transcript/s and diploma/s?

May agent po ksi akuh na nka base mismo sa Alberta so dun ku na pina address sa kanya ung assessment ng result ng IQAS since siya din nag submit ng application ko for LOA sa NAIT. Wala po akung much detail sa mga documents dun since siya ung nag apply for me in NAIT. LOA nlng po na receive kuh

Clarification lng po, meaning ung desired amount nyu in Phil peso debit account sa Pinas, pina convert nyu sa Canadian dollar at pinadala sa Bank account sa Canada? ano po bank ninyu?

Hi! I've been conditionally accepted sa Makami College in Calgary, and over our agreement with the school, my tuition fee will be paid on my first day of class (September 18) in cash. I simply explained in my SOP that I would just bring with me over 12k CAD for my tuition and another 10k for my living expenses and pay the school as soon as I arrive. Is this okay? or would the visa officer be suspicious because the money is not wired? Thank you!
