for clarifications po, what happens in passport request is didikitan nila ng sticker containing your student visa to allow you to travel and reach the borders of Canada.

At the boarder, you maybe interviewed or asked to show proof of funds, LOA or some verification questions depending on the officer po. I've personally seen someone na nadala sa parang interogation room and another one na parang na-deny entry kaya kinabahan ako. Pero as long as you are a genuine student, no worries. Once they are satisfied, they will print your study permit and it will state there if you can work part time or not. Chambahan, minsan sasabihni you can't and mag-aapply ka separately pero yung iba on the spot sinasabi na pwede at dapat bigyan sila. So depende nalang sa tapang ninyo hehe I was lucky na walag restrcitions sa part time work yung akin ;D Once may print na kayo ng study permit, if office hours pa, pwede kayo dumerecho sa service canada inside the immigration/airport to obtain an SIN (parang tin number para makatrabaho kayo) otherwise, the next day na po kayo kukuha ng SIN outside the airport, nagkalat naman po yun kung saan saan hehe

cmaple, sa forms na fill up namin ngayon, parang asawa, anak or common law lang ang pwede isama sa application mo. Although they will ask for details of your parents and siblings din Note that my logic is based from the CRS calculator and the only person outside yourself that can claim points is your partner

Mukhang mahihirapan ka nga. As per info na sinasabi sa akin, mahirap kapag may dala kang family tapos wala ka pang properties. Hindi din kasi porke may pera e mataas na chance dahil puwedeng may nagpahiram lang pang show money. Nagbigay ka ba ng income tax return niyo, payroll/pay slip at employment certificate na indicating salary, bonuses, allowances and other benefits?

Did you make an SOP for your first application, kasi parang mahirap i-connect ang Accountancy to Project Management. Also, what is your professional background?
I think your challenge is that you applied in Dubai, not from the Philippines. And is your husband working in Dubai too? Yung ties mo nga yan, kasi kailangan you have to show properties in the Philippines to reassure the VO that you will come back (theoretically) if your student visa expires. Kasi kung wala, they think you will probably just stay in Canada, especially since you resigned from your job.
Either show your properties sa Pinas or MAYBE a letter from your employer that he or she is willing to hire you back when you are done.

Also, if you can, get your CAIPS note so you will see the specifics of your refusal. Good luck

Hi peej06! Fall 2017 din ako sa SAIT, Chemical Lab Tech Diploma. Still in preparing documents, kakatanggap ko lang ng LOA ko last week. After almost 1 year of application (Fall 2016 & Fall 2017) nag-ooffer din sila ng seat. Sa wakas! Feb 2016 n kasi ako nag-apply for Fall 2016, im on Qualified Waitlist lang for the looooongest time. They didnt even declined my application. Nag-reapply ako Oct 2016 for Fall 2017, finally they offered me a seat! Whew! Thank God!

May kakilala kasi ako sa Calgary and its just nearby SAIT kaya dun talaga prefer ko. Chemist ako by profession so i think Chem Lab Tech is the most appropriate. Kaya yun, naghintay talaga ko! Haha!

I see. Kung maaga ka ma-approve, may time k pa to apply for ur family. Sana all goes according sa plan mo.

Balik sa tuition, how did u calculate for the amount? As in divided by 3 lang ng yearly tuition according sa LOA?
