Okay lang ba ung two 1-year post graduate program in 1 school? Any comments or suggestion? Di ba mahihirapan mag apply ng work permit after completing the two programs?

Hi guys! What if hindi pa ako paid ng tuition? Makakaapekto ba yun sa application ko? Late June pa kasi mag-open for payment yung school ko.
I didn't pay anything when I lodged my application and I did not encounter any problems :)

So there you go, someone made an FB page for applicants. What I made was for those arriving in Canada. :) Unfortunately, sa dami na ng natulungan ko, wala naman nag-aaccept ng email invite ;D

If your goal is to have a 3 year PGWP, there is no guarantee doing this approach. If I remember it correctly, you have to take the 2nd program immediately after the other one. Meaning, there will be no summer breaks. Rules might have changed now so don't quote me on this one :D

Hi. As far as I know di naman siya nakaapekto sa application mo as long as complete lahat ng requirements mo and maganda ung statement of purpose mo.

Hello. I am new here and I'm planning to apply for my SP as soon as my funds are all set. However, to fix all the doucments I need, I'm planning to tender my resignation from the company I'm currently working. May I know if it will affect my application in the future? I'm working 6 days a week and super heavy load.

Thank you in advance! ;)

Thanks for the information. I'll put this in mind and have it verified to the CIC. Anyway, after you take your program (any program) will you be able to extend your study visa if you want to pursue another program there? Or you need to apply work permit as soon as possible? Just a question.

Thanks

I passed my application last December and got my PPR last March 28 and visa last April 12. :)
Just arrived in Vancouver last Tuesday.

Hi chechegb! :) I entered via YVR (PAL). First IO - gave my passport, LOI and the entry form. He only asked if I brought food with my in my check-in luggage. I declared that I have ketchup and filipino sauces :) He instructed me to get my check-in baggage and proceed to the other immigration area (for SP, WP, PR, etc)

2nd immigration line took around an hour - the line was a bit long and it was a mix of SP, WP, PR holders. Mostly families yung nasa line kaya medyo matagal. The IO asked for my LOI, passport and form provided by the school. He only asked me one question -- what i will be studying. Directed me to sit down at the waiting area while he accessed my UCI and printed my Study Permit. Called me back to explain the SP (you need to have it with you whenever you go out of Canada and it should be the original one) and that i'm allowed to work with my SP.

All in all it was smooth and no problems encountered :)

Guys, I badly needed your opinion and expert advice. I got my IELTS result and my overall band is 5.5. Tapos 5.0 pa ako sa reading. Do you think guys ituloy ko pa yung plans ko mag-study permit? Mahirap lang kami, gusto ko talagang makaahon ng kaunti sa hirap, this is the only pathway I know para maging PR sa Canada. Is there any school kaya na tatanggap ng ILETS ko? Or wag ko na lang ituloy. Nalulungkot ako sa result ng IELTS ko sobra. But I understand english naman. Haizt help me please. Thanks!

Hi! Hindi ako expert dito, pero gusto kita tulungan. :)
Why don't you try to look for a school that could accept your IELTS result, or why not try to look for a school with no IELTS required.
Anyway, kung ako tatanungin, try mo padin, ituloy mo padin, but know the consequences before you decide. Ikaw parin naman makakapagdesisyon nito. Pray ka lang lagi. I wish you luck. :)

Hi! If both Tagalog and English ang mode of instruction sa school mo, you could get a certificate about it so you won't be needing IELTS. But keep in mind that you still need to have a high grade on your english and arts subjects for them to consider not requiring you for IELTS. If not, you should really re-take your IELTS and have a higher grade.
