Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Meron na kaya dito applicant na naka experience na tinawagan ng CIC yung current or previous employer nya? Curious lang kung paano sila mag imbestiga. Update, 8 weeks na rin application ko.

Sabi ng husband ko last time, wala naman daw tumawag sa company to verify.. anu kayang merun bat ang tagal nila. feeling ko hindi lang investigation ang problema eh

Hello. Guys, I got questions here as I will be applying soon:
1. Can I include my husband in the application now if susunod
siya after 6 months pa?
2. Do I still need to show my funds if my sponsors' funds are already enough for the required amount?

Ayon sa ibang nabasa ko po dito, mas ok na meron ka pa rin proof ng income mo lalo kung nagwowork ka. Yung sa husband mo, dko sure kung eto nga sagot sa yung "include sya application" - Ang na gets ko lang ay dapat declare mo na married kayo at kung sa SOP, mas okay cguro na wag nalang lagay na susunod sya after 6 months. I hope medyo nakatulong sayo to

I appreciate the input, Flyweight, but I am concerned about the visa if better na sabay-sabay kami mag apply or he will apply on his own later kapag pupunta na siya dito. Naisip ko kasi if sabay-sabay kami mag aaply, mas praktikal at tipid. And of course, internal arrangement na lang na susunod siya later and will not be mentioned on the SOP. Yung travel period lang,di kami sabay sabay aalis, in case maaprove yung visa namin. Ok lang kaya?

With income, I am not working right now kasi I stay with the kids and husband works fulltime. Okay lang ba if I don't show my bank account?

ahhh ano ba yan, i got an email from CIC today that my application has been updated (i got my rejection letter yesterday) so dali dali akong nag log in sa myCIC, hoping na sana nagkamali sila sa pagdeny sakin kahapon pero system glitch nanaman kasi wala namang pagbabago sa profile ko. huhu canada pinapaasa mo ako ng husto :'( :'( :'(

Hello, yung sinabi mong nauna ang rejection letter, thru mycic din ba yun or sinend via email lang na we regret to inform blah...? Curious lng ako hehe.

Ah d ka pla nagwowork, okay na yung sa sponsor lang kasi enough naman funds mo. Yung travel time nyo, hindi ko po sure kung okay na di magsabay kahit may visa. Kung ako kasi, i will not risk hehe.. Pero sana may sumagot about sa query mo.

Hello, I tried asking that sa visa officer nun sat sa study fair kung will there be a difference in the approval status kung single applicant or multilple. Ang sagot nya it doesnt matter daw bsta well supported ang documents. Definitely alam nmn na daw ng VO na khit mauna un applicant eh susunod din un dependents hehe. Sabi nya lng ha not sure how sincere sya.

Hello, I tried asking that sa visa officer nun sat sa study fair kung will there be a difference in the approval status kung single applicant or multilple. Ang sagot nya it doesnt matter daw bsta well supported ang documents. Definitely alam nmn na daw ng VO na khit mauna un applicant eh susunod din un dependents hehe. Sabi nya lng ha not sure how sincere sya.

Thanks again, flyweight and oshin. Actually, di ako makakuha ng direct answer dyan. I hope consistent with the rule yung sinabi ng visa officer. so I don't have to worry. I will be applyjng for OWP for hubby e. Pero di pa sya makaalis sa korea dahil may contract pa. Mauuna kami. Hindi naman siguro makakancel or mafoforfeit and visa if later magttravel. I hope may makakuha ng idea dun sa nakareceive ng visa if merong nakalagay na ganung conditions.

Hi! Yes through MyCIC yun. First I got an email (sa personal email ko that I used with CIC that there was an update on my application) so I logged in to the CIC website to check. Nakalagay na kaagad sa bandang Final Decision - Refused. Tapos dun sa baba ng application profile panel merong msgs, may nakalagay na 1 unread. Tapos i opened it, may link sila, parang "click here" tapos may nag-open na PDF file na addressed saakin na nag-eexplain kung bakit ako refused. Maraming iba't ibang reasons duon with unmarked boxes, tapos yung may mga "x" na box lang yung applicable saakin (employment prospects in country of residence, employment situation).

I hope di ka makatanggap ng gantong update though. Good luck, positive yan!

Thanks thanks!! Ganun pala yun. May na receive kame email sa application nun Fri peru nung ng log-in ako wala naman.. System glitch ulit hehe. Sana nga, we're praying for it. God Bless sa lahat ng waiting. 7 weeks na next week.

Hi flyweight, i have been reading this thread regarding the update sa application. 5th week ko yesterday sa pagaantay lol, next week pang 6th na..my classes will start march 7, i am also a bit anxious na kung anu ba tlga kasi akala ko ako lng ang nasa same situation. Sana soon na ung decision lalo na sa iba na nghihintay din. God bless sa lahat ng nagapply, pls keep us updated and ill update also once I receive an update.

9 weeks n tlga sa akin, pero d ko lang sinama yung legal at possible holidays nkaraang xmas at new year. Bukas pag wala pa, magsend nko cguro ng letter sa knila.

Oo nga pwde kana siguro mg send ng letter sa kanila. Grabe din ang tagal ng inabot ang sabi sakin eh max 8 weeks though yun nga na sandwich kc ng holidays and timeline natin. As much as gusto ko rin sana itanong un status mo eh hndi ko tlga first hand ka-close yun contact ng friend ko

Happy first day of Feb, guys. When do your classes start, and when did you apply? My intake is in August. Anyone on the same month? Should I apply this month na? I'm thinking it might be too early...
