Passport, LOI. also bring your proof of funds, contact person here in Canada, travel insurance, acceptance letter sa school..hmm, ano pa ba?

Hi ally! Ah tlga? Wala pang progress ang aming re-application. I kept on tracking but still the same, being processed pa at canada visa office manila. We re-applied last aug 22, our last application only took 3 weeks including the medical, i reckon two weeks lang this time. So hopefully within this week may result n kami. Kaba kaba na naman haha.

Thanks! Nag medical n kami so yong letter n lng ng nationwide clinic yong binigay as per their advise.

hello my application for student visa was already approved I just want to clarify what this means.. CIC sent me a letter online saying that my permit was approved however I am confused by this..

There was a box included that says..

Permit Details:

Type: Permit - WP/ Permis - PT

Permit Validity (YYYY/MM/DD) : 2015/01/07

What does this mean? My classes will start on 01/07/2015 too.. Please guide me

in the lower box of the letter CIC sent states that...

Permit Validity (YYYY/MM/DD) : 2016/03/18

but then in the TRV my category is SW1 STUDENT, my class will be starting on January 2, 2015 and ends on December 18, 2015... as I understand, they gave me additional 90days after my class ends... (2016/03/18)... yet I am a little confused with the type of permit they stated... do you have OJT as part of your study because I have... thanks...

Hi guys! It's me again! I have an update just this afternoon. My partner received notification that his application was forwarded from VFS Cebu to CVAC Manila and another email that his passport is already dispatched today from CVAC Manila to courier. The email notification was a bit vague because they notified us with the two updates on the same day. Anyway, what's more exciting is that I (Main Applicant) did not receive any update even until this evening. I guess we'll wait till tomorrow for my updates, probably just some delays. They really give me a thrill! lol. Anyway, is the accompanying dependant should receive an LOI email from CIC or just the main applicant? No further email received from my partner.

This may be off topic but just in case some of you may know something about it. Im thinking of transferring to another school with a different course from the one I submitted to the embassy.
Is there a violation on the visa issued if I do so?
Im already here in canada.

Got a question about the medical exam. I was forwarded rhe medical request form but my applicatuon was refused even before i could perform it. I reapplied and requested for another medical request form. Been asking CIC if i should use the previous form, no answer till now. I called VAC and the agent told me the request is specific to each application. However, i found this on CIC website "A medical assessment is interchangeable and can be used for other immigration categories, unless the medical officer imposed one of the following limitations on the assessment:" Does this mean i can use the form from the refused application? Thanks.
