actualy only 3 photographs are required by DMP....

no on COPR they use the photo which u had sent along with app.

no photo on visa

Well actually yes, in total we pasted only 3 photos on different forms. 4th photo seemed like was used for doctor's own record (she wrote our details on a normal notebook and pasted the photo alongside), didn't look anything official.

BTW, what does COPR stands for?

So ultimately i need not do anything about this photo thing? Thanks!

Hi jainanshal,

Conformation Of Permanent Residence - The document that comes (in triplicate carbon copy 1+2) along with your visa stamped on your passport.
Record of landing is done using this.
It is very important document which you have to keep it till you get your citizenship.

hi,
Any feedback on CIIP session. Registering in the website, does not have Bangalore as an option. Any idea when is the next CIIP session in bangalore? What is the frequency of bangalore sessions?

What is the Bfile number
thanks,

Hi Guys,

I am also from Bangalore and stay in Basavanagar near HAL.
I have got the PR cards last month in my hands and now I am planning to go to Canada.

I applied in NOC 0213 (IT manager) category.
Anyone else in the same category ? Lets connect and help each other in job hunting.

What say ?

Regards,
Sharat Joshi

Hi Vinpar,
I am not sure about frequency of Bangalore sessions but we have attended one on 17th Jan so I believe we might have session in bangalore only in march.

Here is the forthcoming session schedules.
· February 7th, Chandigarh
· February 7th, New Delhi
· February 14th, New Delhi
· February 21st, Mumbai

Just register on ciip site and then they will let you know when is the next bangalore session. (I have put my file no starting with E instead of BFile number)

mycan, I am aware of only 1 shop.
In commercial street, you have to go till end of the road near masjid.
The shop is on left side and I think the shop name is eastern store or something...
There you can get winter clothes throughout the year !!!

Hope it helps...

Thank you sharat_joshi77. It really helps - mycan

exactly, I second Sharat Joshi!!

that is the good place and I have been there. but i found it little bit traditional rather than trendy(personal opinion), but you can still try that once, in fact I bought thermal inner wear from them when I was visiting Denver,CO last time.

I would suggest if you are travelling after april(you might not see much snow after april) then buy warm clothes from canada. Indian warm clothes will not help you in canadian winter and they are bulky so it's better to buy it from there. If you are travelling before april then I would suggest you to buy only one pair from here.

I have another suggestion for you: Decathlon bangalore (French sporting store) http://www.decathlon.in//WARM-WEAR-WARM-JKT-BIONNASSAY

Decathlon is basically like Metro, you need membership to buy things, I am a memeber and you can take my card if you want :) ( I will not get any commission or points when you purchase from my membership card 8))

Hi Sharat,

I recently attended CIIP session with one of the thread memeber(articmaple) He is also from IT backgroud. CIIP will help us little bit in finding job but we have to do lot of preparation on our own. I am waiting for my PP, so once that is in my hand I will start looking for job in full throttle but mean while I have started preparing canadian style resume and started crawling target companies.

How are things going with you?
