Any updates for those who applied in June or July 2019?

I haven't received any update since February 5th 2020, but I wanted to share my timeline:

▪Jun 24th 2019: I sent my application to Edmonton. IRCC received it on the 26th.
▪August 13th 2019: I received AOR (acknowledgment of receipt).
▪October 21st 2019: I received letter request for medical exams and background check from my home country.
Gc key update: Medical exams approved Nov. 1st 2019.
▪February 5th 2020: I received a second letter request for FBI background check because I lived in the USA. I sent the report on March 5th 2020.

And that's all, I haven't heard from them since February 2020. It's been EIGHT MONTHS without knowing anything about my application

hi! Are we allowed to leave (stay for months on other countries) the country (canada) while our application is on process?

Hi! I don't know what your status is, so I don't know what to reply, but in my case, I applied from within Canada because I have a valid work permit. Before the program was modified last year, we had to complete the 24 months of experience in Canada before we could apply for Permanent residence

23rd July 2019 -application sent
25th July- Application received Edmonton
16th September 2019 - AOR
26th November 2019 - Eligibility to apply( letter to say I meet the requirements to apply for HCCP)
26th November 2019-Pre- arrival instruction letter( I applied inside Canada)
26th November 2019- Medical requests
5th Feb- medical passed(gkey updated)
No update from Ircc since 5th of feb 2020

Wow we have VERY similar timelines!!! I haven't heard anything either, and now I'm worried that it's been more than a year since we did our medical stuff. Do you think we'll have to do them again? Where in Canada do you live? I live in Calgary

I live in Toronto yes it’s very frustrating all this waiting! So I called Ircc when my medical were about to expire and I explained to the person on the phone so they put a note on my file to say my medical was about to expire and they extended the expiry date to Jan 2021

Hi! My status is worker. I came 3 years ago with a live-in caregiver work permit, and I applied for PR after completing 24 months working as a nanny. So, I did not apply as a visitor.
The pre-arrival letter is standard for everybody, so we got it too even though we were already here. It has info on how to access health services, and stuff like that
