Hi Seniors

So, I saw an update in my profile today. My CRS score went up to 459 from 434 (25 points) due to my second year completed at work (as seen by CIC). My actual start date of work was 30th March 2015 and technically my 2 years should complete on or after 30th March 2017. I have been reading all the posts regarding this and I have asked earlier as well but i am still confused as this is getting credit for almost 2 months - February and whole March. Different opinions I am getting if I receive an ITA in next draw.

1. Decline the ITA and wait for 30th March (this accounts to almost 4 draws or more)
2. Accept the ITA and wait for 30th March and then submit Application (this puts me in question to should I have received ITA or no?)
3. Accept the ITA and go ahead with submitting the complete application anytime as CIC is giving credit for those months and if they had to consider dates, they would have put it in the profile. (almost like I got ITA and applied)

Any Suggestions???? Any experiences regarding this?

Hi There,

I have total 7 years work experience. But 6 years in one NOC (LET'S SAY 0012), and 1 year in different NOC which is not related to previous. When I fill up EEprofile can I put my all 7 years work experience and put 'not applicable' instead of NOC code in the job exp which is different? And in this case, should I also submit my work experience letter for this 'not applicable' job?

I also have some part time job experience. But sometimes those are less than part time hour, sometiems as a contractor. Can I include all of my job experience in EE profile? But not submitting reference letter or any documents related those as I'm not claiming those points.

Thanks in advance for answering my questions.

Hi Seniors, I need a advice post ITA (Inland CEC)

I am due for Medicals tomorrow in Toronto. I have not yet received the new renewed passport for my dependent son's from the Consulate..it is coming next week.
Medical facility told me they can do medicals on the old passport photocopy but my question is - Will it be a problem if

I do medicals for my son on old passport which will be cancelled and before I submit my application upload the latest passport in the passport section for him. Will this discrepancy in the passport number in medicals and in the application affect my file.

I could have waited for Medicals after receiving new passport but no appointments are available for next 2 weeks and don't want to delay it further.

Please advice. Thanks in advance.

Dear Seniors,

I received my Provincial Nomination Certificate from Nova Scotia via email yesterday. I am now expecting an ITA in the next Draw. I order to expedite I have taken an appointment for the medical on 7th Feb. I have all other paperwork ready except the PCCS which should take around 1 month. can someone answer the following for me please:

1. Do I have to upload everything online only through Mycic Account?
2. Do I also have to send all the original documents via courier - if yes what address should I send them to?
3. How long is the processing taking generally? I am based in Kuwait

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Option 1

HI,

I Started working from Sept 2008 and my Last organization was Monster India.com resignation date was Nov 2012.

From Jan 2013 i ventured into my own line of business Dry cleaning & Retail outlets ( As a proprietor ) and i have all the requisite supporting documents such as Sales Tax & Service Tax Registrations and tax receipts along with 2 current Accounts and few other strong supporting documents such as my Franchisee Agreement with Lee & Wrangler etc... there are also few loans on my books which are part & parcel of any business setup.

Now my question is as follows:

1) since I have the required no years (aprox 4 years) of relevant work experience to get points for work experience quota therefore i do not intend to add this experience to get points, i want to understand how do i show case my last 4 years of self work experience...?? Basically i want to know is the list of documents required ( for self experience ) while showcasing what i was doing in last 10 years.

2) Does having loans on books have any Impact...?

3) The 1st company i worked with is defunct now ... but i have everything resignation letter, experience letter, salary slips, Income Tax receipts, bank statement, promotion certificate etc as supporting documents plus i can add an affidavit also ...!! will this be suffice...??

Hoping for answers...!!

Thanks
RD Walia

Thanks

No consequences if you choose option 2, rejection if you choose option 3.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/refuse.asp

"An applicant’s CRS score is automatically recorded in GCMS at the time when

their ITA is issued; and
their e-APR is submitted.
At the time of the e-APR, processing officers should compare both CRS scores to determine which of the following scenarios should be applied:

If the applicant’s CRS score at the time of the e-APR is equal to or higher than the lowest-ranked score in the round of invitations, the application will not be refused under section A11.2, as long as the applicant’s supporting documentation corroborates their claims and they continue to meet the MEC for Express Entry, including the requirements of the program to which they were invited to apply."

1. Yes through your Mycic account
2. No, it is all online, no physical copies to be sent
3. They say 6 months from the date of submission but timelines could vary and that doesn't depend on applicant's nationality but on the information provided and the time taken to verify the same.

make sure your bank letters are dated close to the application submission date.

Hello everyone I will be glad if someone can help me with this....

I just got my ITA

So I have a question;

I graduated from a Canadian University with a Bachelors,, I finished and MBA here in Turkey and I am doing my PHD here currently.. I wasnt awarded any points for my Masters or PHD because I didint want to bother with WES... I was lucky enough to get it without these....

However in the personal history section it asks us what activities we did for the last 10 years,

Well I attended a Canadian University for another 1,5 years after my graduation for another degree but did not finish it, and this is during the last 10 years... I added that to my personal history (because there should be no gaps) however now I am thinking if I should include it in my education history as well ... When I try to add it with a "Not complete" option It still asks if I received a Canadian degree and the answer should be No because I didnt finish it.. however it IS a Canadian university...and I should not be asked for an ECA for it....

What do you suggest? Should I choose Not Complete and still say yes to that Canadian degree thing or should I just say No...or should I not include it at all..

Last time I called CIC , it took about 20 minutes to get through...

Please help... *sigh

hi Ezgi84,

What is your alternative to indicate what you did during the 1.5years when you don't mention your University time?...1.5years homestay?

Others may comment and correct me, but I think you can certainly state your 1.5years attendance at the University. Just point out that you didn't obtain a degree and you are not claiming points for it. My understanding is that ECA needs only to be provided for those education degrees someone is also claiming points for ? As long as you mention your degree , but you are not claiming points for then you also don't need an ECA.
