I need your assistance regarding the immigration in Canada.
I did my bachelors here in Pakistan in from 2008-2010 (which was of two years degree program), after that I recently completed my Masters in business administration evening program 2011-2015 (which was of officially 3 to 3.5 years program). I have a work experience of total 5 years almost out of which 2 years belong to one job (which is my recent job) in marketing & sales field. But that job I have been doing along with my MBA. Can I be eligible for Canadian immigration? Kindly help me out. I am in a serious dilemma over whether to go for it or not because 50% of consultants told me about the positive results and 50% are not taking the case, they say that 2 years degree program is not considered as bachelors in Canada, therefore you are recognized as graduate after MBA and the work experience should be starting from now to get eligible.
regards

Have a question regarding Proof of Foreign work experience

I have around 10.5 years of experience in 3 companies together. I have been with the current employer for last 2.3 years and before that I was with the just previous employer for 6.5 years.

It is tough to get an Employment reference letter from the current employer. I have got the Employment reference letter only from just previous employer for the 6.5 years.

1. Is it OK to have the Employment reference letter only from the just previous employer. Its for 6.5 years (from 2007 to 2013)?
BTW, I had claimed CRS points for '3 or more years of foreign work experience'

2. Will my application be rejected for not presenting the Employment reference letter from current employer and my first company where I worked during 2005-07? I have the Offer letter, Service letter and Payslips from them, which I can upload.

1. Yes
2. No
This is my opinion, however, my understanding is that the experience you claim points for does not have to be contiguos.
What you can do is list only the experience you have the letters for. Once you get ITA, you can add the rest to personal history.

Well, it depends on several factors.
1. Not all NOC codes require a bachelor degree. Some accept secondary education, diploma etc. So sstart by looking at what NOC's you can possibly use and which one does not necessarily require a degree.
2. Get your Bachelor's and Master Degree assessed. Only then can you really start planning. (I have also done online Master)
After that you can easily decide if you want to go ahead with express entry.
Even if you don't qaulify for EE, there are several provincial nominee programs that you could qualify for.

ok I have been working as a marketing and sales executive.
so where to get my degrees assessed to know whether they approve or not?

I have a problem with my EE account.
I got my ECA report from WES, where my master`s degree is recognized, and when complemented my profile, my points did not risen.
The transmission was done yesterday in the the education segment information.

Today is displays that the information is transmitted, but there is not a message form CIC, and in addition the points are still the same.
The same goes for my husband`s profile.
I have updated the spouse education information form bachelor to master` degree, and the points are still the same.

What's the problem?
You I have to create a new EE profile?

Here is the link to Schedule 4 -

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm0008_4e.pdf

Fill it, print it, sign it and upload it back at the placeholder that is available.

For Schedule 4A, (if you are not self employed), you can write a letter telling that S4A is not applicable to you and you can upload that.

Guys when can the next draw be expected ?

Well, IMO, you need not be as worried as you are. Since there is no criminal offense or a deportation, this overstay, IMO, will not have any sizable impact on your EE application.

You could get an opinion from other members as well.

Hi Seniors,
Need help regarding PCC in India. During past 10 years I stayed in two states for 7 & 3 years respectively. I got PCC from passport office without duration and PCC from Police Commissioner Office for last 3 years duration stating dates. Will it be ok? or I also need PCC from Police Commissioner for the place I stayed 7 year?
Kindly suggest.
Thanking you in advance.

I would like to echo my questions in another thread in the hopes of getting some input :)

1. The instructions for proof of work mention "annual salary plus benefits". So the employment reference letter should contain information regarding the latest salary of a breakdown of every promotion? Also what exactly is meant by benefits? What do the Canadian officers want to see in the employment reference letter in this regard?

2. Do I need to provide an extra document showing what my employer paid to me? Like an offical list of Social Security payments list?

3. I've had a work exchange. That means I was employed by a company, but sent to secondment to another country for a fixed term while my principal employer continued to pay my salary. I am planning to mention this in my letter of explanation. But I am not sure if I should also get a reference letter from the second company, because I was there like a visiting employee and I was not getting any salary. Any thoughts?

Many thanks!

Hi All,

I am little bit confused filling up my e-APR.

1. In the Education section, should I include Secondary and Higher Secondary information? I am B.Sc (Hons.) and MBA and my ECA came for these two educations. But in the education section, it asks Secondary and post-secondary education information.

2. There is one question - Date first you became qualified to practice in this occupation

The problem is that I put wrong dates in EOI (so far I can recall) because of misunderstanding. I put the date when I started my job for the respective NOC. If I now correct it, is there any problem? My understanding is that CIC asked the required education date I graduated for the respective NOC.

Please suggest!
