Hi,

I am currently working in Canada on a work permit and this was on a Intra-company transfer which did not require an LMO/LMIA. Now when i apply under Express Entry this job which is my current job is not being considered as arranged employment.
Do i need to get a letter from my Company or do i need to get an LMO/LMIA for this to be taken into consideration as an arranged employment.
Please suggest on how to proceed with this situation. Any help will be very very much appreciated.

Thank you,
Vinay

You will need LMIA to claim the 600 points for arranged employment. Just a Reference letter wouldnt work.

Hi,

I have my LMO with me and trying to fill all the information for Express Entry and just get confused about LMIA number. There are lots of different numbers on the LMO paper and dont' know which one is the LMO number. Is the 7 digits one or on the top right with the combination of the letter and numbers?

There will be field "System File number". That is your LMO/LMIA number.

If you have any question....i will try to answer all your questions....

Hi briandg!

Now my score is 361 but my Canadian Work Experience does NOT help me get points. Actually, I have worked in Canada for over one year, but at different jobs. The NOC of my two jobs is different. My first job is lab technician with NOC 2211 (starting from Feb 2013 to Oct 2013), while my second job is process operator with NOC 9232 (starting from May 2014 to current). My total working experience: 19 months X 160 hr/mon = 3040 hrs. Could you please point out my problems? Thank you so much!

Thanks again Berniechin,
Ok it's clear now for the CRS as I'd like to apply under EE and not FSW.

However, I'm still confused about the ECA record since I don't have any Canadian degree.
I know that it's only mandatory for FSW but if I don't apply for it, will the education points still be counted under my CRS total?

The website w w w .cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp is clearly stating:

"4) What is the highest level of education for which you have obtained?
a Canadian degree, diploma or certificate; or
an Educational Credential Assessment? (ECAs must be from an approved agency, in the last five years)"

And because 98 points can definitively make a difference, if I have to, I'd probably pay $225 for it..

Can anyone confirm?

Thanks!

I did ECA although it was expensive. And since I can only be eligible for the FSW category under EE, I have to do the ECA.

I recommend you also do the ECA, 98 points is a lot!

PLZ HEPL ME BY ANSWERING MY QUERY
1 I APPLIED IN NSNP AND DECLARED THAT MY WIFE AND SON WILL ACCOMPANY ME AFTER 2-3 YEARS AS SON IS RECENTLY BORN AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION, SO IN EE PROFILE DOES I HAVE TO INCLUDE MY WIFE IN APPLICATION?
2. IF MY WIFE ALSO NEEDS IELTS AND ECA .. IS THIS NECESSARY IF I WANT TO APPLY WITH HIM AND SON.

Hello guys! I applied for PNP of Nova Scotia Express Entry. I got prescreening yesterday from Nova Scotia and they ask me to give my EE Profile no. And Job Seeker Validation Code. When I updated my EE profile I become ineligible, but last January I was stil eligible. I just can't understand. How come that I am eligible for Provincial Nominee Program but I am not eligible from Express Entry. I would appreciate it if you could give some good advice with my problem. Thank you!

Hi, I've having a few questions, hope someone can help me :)

I'm currently working as NOC A 2121 occupation on a 12-month contract from last April, and it's already been extended to end of this year.
I have a PGWP valid until 2017.
I have a master's degree from a 2 years program at a Canadian university. My degre requirements are fulfilled last Feburary but my degree was given at the graduation ceremony in last June.

I'm considering myself eligible to enter the EE pool by April, as by that time I would fulfill one year skilled working experience in Canada.
However I heard that work experience only counts after the date of graduation ceremony, which means only by this June I'll complele 1 year of full-time work. Is this correct?

I also think that I'll enter the FSW stream however it requires proof of funds or permeant job arrangement with LMIA ... so even though I'm currently working in Canada with valid work permit, with my contract job offer, that fund requirement cannot be waived, am I right?

Thank you guys in advance. Any thoghts will be greatly appreaciated.

I have a question, can we update the EE profile at a later stage if we have submit it already?

Dear All,

I have doubt regarding ECA.. frds plzz suggest me..

My wife is an dentist. I am planning for the ECA of her education. So can I proceed with WES evaluation as she is my dependent ( I am the primary applicant in the EE application)...or we have to get them certified from Medical Council of Canada...

Hi all!
I need urgent help.
First of all which province can I choose and if I choose one province can I change it later? Furthermore, If I choose one province can I apply for PNP for another one if I fail to pass without PNP??
Secondly, I had applied FSWP 2014 but due to cap reached my application was sent back in the end of February but I haven't got it yet. When I asked agent what to answer regarding "Have you ever applied to Canada programs before" she advised to choose "yes" and put 8 zeros in the UCI number field. Yet another agent told me to leave it blank is it possible to leave the field unfilled(blank) or system will not accept it?
Third, how many days later my EE profile will turn active? Is it right away or I should wait for couple of days?
Finally, should I create profile in Job Bank in order to participate in EE? Is job bank active for the moment?
My score is 399 so I want to be in the pool for 6-th draw.
I will appreciate any help so please give me an advice for the up-mentioned questions.

hi,
1. yes it is better to apply for them too else bringing them gets a lot more difficult later. n i believe there is no other way, as you have to declare your family in the application and do medicals, pcc ceheck n fees for all.
2. if you need around 20 -30 points more in your ee profile, your wife's eca and ielts also can be done else you can leave it.
