Hello Seniors
i am planning for EE program . Can i go for my PG distance education program for educational credentials from WES

Hi Seniors,
I am new to the forum and I really have been learning a lot from you guys. I am creating my profile and i have a few questions i need help with.

1. I am the primary and I need to know if once you have declared your spouses level of education, you will need to have ECA for any level even if its a high school grad level or certificate. i thought ECA's were done for degrees, masters etc. and only to gain points.

2. Can i update my profile once i submit it? if my spouse will be doing the Celpip test soon can i submit my profile and update once i get the results?
3. i was issued a UCI number should i quote it on my profile?

Thanks.

Hi!

I am using the "come to canada" survey to start the EE application. I think I am eligible for the FSW category but it turns out to be not eligible. Could you please help me figure out the reason?

Here is my information:

age: 28 (12 points)
Education: Master (23 points)
Work experience: 1.5 year outside Canada as mechanical engineer (9 points)
Celpip: 8,9,12,12 (23 points)
Has relative who is Canadian citizen (5 points)
My wife took ielts: 6,7,7.5,7.5 (5 points)

I thought I should get 77/100 points.

If I increase my education to doctoral degree, I am still not eligible
If I increase my work experience to 2 years outside canada, then I become eligible. That's weird because FSW only requires 1 year work experience.

Please help!
Thank you!

Hi Seniors,
I have a couple of questions:

a) Is it possible to apply as a Single to EE , despite being married ? My wife cant join me immediately due to some family reasons.
I have a score of around 411 , when applied as Single under FSW.
While applying as Married it is 405.

b) I have also applied under FSW in 2014, and have received a PER.
I want to know if my FSW 2014 will cross paths with the EE and both get rejected .. or one overrides the other ?

Any kind of help is highly appreciated.

Many Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Andy

Hey,

I did the same "come to canada" assessment for you. I thought you might have answered one of the questions wrong, that's why you got a negative response from the survey. But I am shocked to see the results. It says "ineligible". You seem to have a very good profile :(

Please keep the hope. We must be doing the wrong assessment or something. I will research about it and let you know.

Dont worry :)

Hello,

Next month I'm going to create my EE Profile,
And I have 7 Score in each IELTS Band, 2yrs Exp in Investment Banking field,

My CRS will be 280-300

So am I having enough chances in getting ITA?

In 4th draw I can see candidates with 735(600+134).

So even can I get job offer before arriving Canada?

Please give suggestion, Thank You so much in advance.

Hi Bernechin,
I'm wondering how you got that points calculation..

Did you pass it from ww.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/ee-start.asp ?

When I fill out my information, it's only telling me i'm eligible but doesn't give me a real total at all.
And isn't supposed to have the same CRS points system as shown here ww.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp#a4

Like "20 to 29 years of age" 110pts or "Master degree" up to 135pts??

I'm also wondering about the Education points, does the ECA mandatory to have those points counted at all? or is extra points only applying for "CRS – C. Skill transferability factors" or "Skill Transferability factors"??

Based on that points chart, I'd count my CRS points for my situation as follow:
Age: 31 - 99pts
Education (two year program) - 98pts
etc,..

Thanks a lot!
Mike

I have open post graduate work permit.

I am doing 2 full time jobs right now.

1. The field related.

2. Restaurant Chef (Not field related)

My field job employer is NOT willing to do LMIA process for me.

But, My Restaurant employer is willing to apply LMIA for me.

So, here is my questions:

1) If I will get +ve LMIA then my open work permit will still remain open or it will turns into close work permit.Because I don't want leave my field job.

2) Does Restaurant Chef's position is eligible to apply for LMIA?

3) If I am already working and now if my employer will apply for LMIA then from when my experience will count? Because when I joined they haven't post the job position.

4) Restaurant Chef will come in what category (FSW, FSWP , CEC)?

5) will it be negative impression to the government because my job is not related study?

6) I inquired one of the lawyer, he is asking $ 2000 for his processing fees and $ 1000 LMIA application fees. is it something to much or the amount is fine?

Please Advise...!!!

Hi

Is lmia for fast food supervisor qualify for express entry???
Jobs in Skill level O/A/B qualify for EE. I think yours is in B, so as long as you score a minimum of 67 in FSW or have a year of Canadian experience in these skill levels or PNP, (phew) then you can apply.

I have some query regarding education level. I have done my ECA from WES but i am confused with the result. I have BBA and MBA degree from a private university in Bangladesh. But in the assessment WES only give me a Bachelor's Degree (4 years).

Canadian Equivalency:
Bachelor's degree (four years)

Breakdown in as follows:
BBA (4 years)- Bangladesh
Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor's Degree (3 years)

MBA (2 years)- Bangladesh
Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor's Degree* (4 years)
*The equivalency for this credential is stated in conjunction with
study previously completed.

My question is which option should i choose?
1. Bachelor's degree OR a three or more year program at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute.

2. Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years.

Thanks in advance
