Hello,

I'm an H1B worker in the US and I just entered the EE pool. Now waiting for ITA but my CRS score is 392 ( which is not great)
I am trying to apply for Jobs in Canada to gain some points and I am getting a few replies back but I don't know how to explain and not scare them about LMIA process ( how long it takes, the cost, when I can finally move and work with them etc.)

Does anyone have any information or went through with this?

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated!

Ok then you will need these:

- Marriage certificate
- Legal name change certificate (Name change affidavit) in front of a notary. Just contact any notary, they will have format for this.

Hi,
My previous company is not mentioning my CTC details in my experience certificate but designations, roles & responsibilities are duely stated.
Now the problem here is that on my promotion letter which is the only document where my CTC details are mentioned, my designation is stated incorrectly. It should be " Delivery Software Engineer" and which is wrongly mentioned in promotion letter as only "software Engineer". The "Delivery" keyword is missing. However, in all my documents the correct designation is mentioned as " Delivery software Engineer"....guys plz Suggest what to do in this scenario... Waiting for your response... Thanks

If you have any question....i will try to answer all your questions....

Hi Brian,

I have just received an Invitation to apply .I am the primary applicant and my husband does not want to immigrate to Canada with me (atleast initially as he has a well running business ).Should I still include him in the application?What happens if I don't include him.Will my application get rejected?

Thanks,
Lavita

Although IRCC dont disclose how they process an application but does anyone know how actually they process all the documents and take final decision ?

I mean what is their workflow?

You have to state you're married but you can add him as non accompanying, no issues there. Keep in mind it might take a while for him to be able to rejoin you

Yea, we do have a set of instructions that have been provided to the officers handling PR applications.

FSW --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/econ/fsw/index.asp?v=post

CEC --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/econ/cec/index.asp?v=post

PNP --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/econ/pnp/index.asp?v=enhanced

All the above are for applications submitted through Express Entry.

hi
need help and suggestion
i got ITA yesterday.
I am married but my husband can not accompany me to Canada for at least 2 years and i made my profile declaring being married but my spouse wont come with me and that is how my score(429) is measured,\.
my question is : is that a problem to apply without my husband although i am married? and will it be a reason for rejection? and can i sponsor my husband when i am all set in Canada?

But what reason are you giving for husband not accompanying?

The reason shouldn't affect your application AFAIK. You can just say he is planning to take care of things back home and hence not ready to immigrate at the moment.

She has a valid reason. shouldn't be an issue.

What kind of proof do we submit for that. Thank you

Post ITA how do we we submit the reason? Do we need to show them any proof?

Nothing in post ITA but some people have mentioned they were asked why spouse was not accompanying. A lot of people go for that option just to get more points. They may ask, they may not.

But POF should include for husband also, evenif he is not accompanying?
