If a person grand visa ( eg work permit from outside Canada by LMO)

After visa issue how many weeks they can wait to fly.

If the visa grand 10 November when is the last date for to fly to enter canada .

I mean is there any law about it

I believe there is a time limit and that it varies on what kind of visa/work permit it is. I think work permits have either 3 or 6 months but I cannot remember for sure. You will need to check the instructions that come with your paperwork - or call CIC

What visa or work permit are you referring to?
Have you checked the paperwork for an expiry date?

So as they request passport I hope I'm going to get visa

Ok you need to post this on the foreign worker forum as this is for permanent residency applications.
However when you get your work permit and visa sent to you, you will be told the deadline by which you need to enter the country by. Your employer should also be able to tell you
But you should post this on the other forum

Hi I am the onewho used to apply work permite outside Canada. I was in Dubai at that time. Work visa will expired on the page of visa that visa officer issue. You can travel whenever you want but not after visa expire. when you fly to Canada then officer at the border will issue work permit at that time.

You can travel any time before the visa expires. Though u get a visa for say 2yrs, it doesnt mean the WP (issued at PoE ) will be for 2 years

Pardon me if I am wrong but I think the first landing needs to be before the expiry of medicals

I believe it is 6 months from the date of Work Permit approval (read VISA stamping date). The first time when I received the letter, it was mentioned there that I should travel within 6 months.

The LMO will have an expiration date, there normally valid for at least 3 months until you apply for the work permit.

So take time to read your LMO!, it has it on there for sure
