Hi Ritu,

In my case I have recieived rprf request together with medicals in June and after medical recived line appeared in ecase it has been more than two months but no news so far. but you will get ppr soon as you fall under the MI 2 category.

Hi Shawnb

Security Checks starts after Medical received line appears in ecas. This normally take more than 3 months unless if your living in Australia or New Zealand. Hopefully you will get your PPR soon.

you mean to say that if someone residing in Australia or New Zealand it takes more time for security check. I am from Australia (melbourne) too so what should I expect, in how many months after medical I'll recieve ppr?

I am from Melbourne, finally saw some progress with my application today.

I see a new line ecas, it says we have started processing your application on 11th Oct !!!

That's good news, I guess. Does anyone here know when I would get the next update ? What is the next update ? Is it medicals ?

I love the 4 season weather in Canada, especially when it snows. people are fantastic.

This question is little personal but still I want to tell you guys, we want to go to Canada as my son and my parents are in India, if I will get PR for Canada then my son will be joining us soon as PR too and Canada's visa processing is much faster and little expensive for parents visa...

I hope it will help you to understand my thoughts.

Hi Eaad,

My son's medical done on 24th Sep., but DMP sent the same to Delhi 3rd October which was received by RMO on 4th October and on 15th Oct., medical line appeared....

Good to hear about your progress. I got PPR after a week of "medical results received" ecas status. And hey guess what my reason of moving is parents as well. Good luck for rest of the process. Cheers
