wow, that is quick. Congrats. Only took 10 days from the day you submitted your passport to collection. If you don't mind me asking, what's your status in australia? If you are on temporary visa, maybe they have to process faster since everyone on temp visa can receive 28 days notice from immigration.

Yes i am on Temporary visa since February 2012.

Hi whisnz ,by clicking on in process it was showing that your application for permanent resident is received on xx/xx/xxxx. and then next line added we start processing your application on 18 /06/2012 .
than medical have been received ,got my visa but still showing in process.

just finished my medical on 4th of this month
i think my spouse have bit problem with chest x ray(she had soft tissue in lung(some abnormaliity))not now many yrs ago ..so i have to do some follow up...
so i think it will take some time...

Friends, who are expecting to hear some follow up on their medical reports:- how come you guys come to know that there is some problem in particular part of body, which can cause some more tests to be taken place...

If something wrong then Radiologist will send a copy of the result to you so you could consult with your family doctor.

Hello there, I lodged my application for skilled migration on 2nd November 2011 through CIO at Nova Scotia. On February 2012 I received a msg from Sydney office that they have started processing my application and after that no other contacts at all.

How long it might take to get response from them?
