Dear Friends on this forum, please reply with your experiences

I and rest of family members did our medical in Jan 2012.

In March UK v/o asked me to do some more medical test (myself only) and that test was cleared by doctor and sent to UK v/o four weeks ago.

So my question is when I will receive next step ( I mean copies of the passport ) and at the same time the rest family's medical will expire in Jan 2013, so any comments please ---

I hope you'll be able to get PR visa before the expiry of your medicals.

As almost all of PNP applicants got visa before expiry of their 1st medicals(unlike FSW). I know just couple of PNP applicants who were asked to redo medicals once again.

hi i am new to this topic. I want to know the whole procedure of ontario PNP procedure. someone please provide some link.

also tell me which is the most suitable and fastest program for international students having masters from ontario publically funded university, to get PR.

Hello All,

My application is almost ready (received nomination in Ontario FSW Pilot) and planning to send the PNP application out next week. Just wanted to confirm a few things and would appreciate if someone would help:

1- My understanding is that we need to send *original* 1 page Ontario nomination certificate (with 'COPY' stamped over it in blue) along with *photocopy* of 3 page letter.
2- Do we have to get document photocopies certified by notary public? The checklist (IMM5690E) doesn't mention this.
3- We only have to send photocopy of Passport pages with required information (Passport#, Issue, Expiry, Photo, etc) and not the complete passport with blank pages as was the case when it was sent earlier to Ontario FSW. All this requested information is contained on 1st page of passports in Pakistan.
4- My completed IMM0008 form generation 2 pages of barcodes (barcodes + consent/declaration). I've printed 2 copies of barcode pages, one to go on top whereas the other as part of IMM0008. Hope this is correct.

@ ume rayan and adnan,,i applied in nov 2011 n then in march 2012 i was asked to submit few add docs like my own bank st. est plan n ielts result which i sent i may 2012,since then no reply from cic,my status says application received.just today i received email from cic saying that ur application n supporting docs remain under review n we will contact u if there will be any further dev in ur case,and adnan my vo(PA) is also AKS,plz share ur exp with me n also comment on my case,how long it will take to get my medicals.

Don't worry. This is a very slow process. I also filed my application in Nov 2011. I sent my newborn baby's update in July 2012. Then I received an email in mid September for submitting additional documents: bank statement and plan for economic establishment. I have submitted these a week ago. You are lucky you got your additional document request so early. Mine was supposed to be received in March 2012 but I didn't get any email from cic. After my newborn's document submission, cic realized that the email supposed to be sent by them in March was not received by me! This may be a system glitch as I regularly check my mail and junk too.

No it doesn't make any difference. I just wanted to know that our documents are received by just one person or there are more of them. As visa office don't bother to inform us whether they receive our doc or not.

You applied to CIO,Nova Scotia or directly to London Visa Office? Did you enquire about status of your application previously?

I applied to London Visa Office directly. I did send emails thrice, one for AOR and another to request for Ecas # in March 2012 (after 5 months of sending my application as they did not give me any tracking number). Another email I sent to inquire about the documents required for new born in July 2012. They only mentioned that my file is proceeding normally (waiting to be reviewed) and I will be contacted if there is any progress. Even after so much coordination, they realized after 6 long months that they missed additional document request
