Requested documents are usually same for each applicant just IELTS result is not necessarily asked from all applicants.

Kindly check out following email of London Visa Office shared by another forum member who received it during last month. He was requested to submit IELTS result too (although he submitted IELTS already few years back at Alberta PNP) but there are few other forum members who didnt get IELTS request along with other documents. Email is follows:

Dear Applicant,

This refers to your application for permanent residence in the provincial nominee class. The information you have provided is insufficient for a visa officer to be satisfied that you meet the requirements for immigration to Canada.

The provincial nominee class is described in Canada's Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR) as a class of persons who may become permanent residents on the basis of their ability to become economically established in Canada and who intend to reside in the province that has nominated them. Notwithstanding the nomination of an applicant by a province or territory, the federal government has the final authority to select immigrants in the provincial nominee class.

Please read this email carefully and provide precisely what is being requested; if you provide incorrect or incomplete information, it may result in your application being refused. You may already have provided similar information to the province as part of your nomination process, but please provide the following ( ) to assist the federal government with its assessment of your eligibility under Subsection 87 of the IRPR:

Proof of your own money available for you to settle in Canada. If you do not have your own money, you may be inadmissible to Canada for financial reasons for your inability to demonstrate that you can support yourself or your dependents. Financial guarantees from third parties, such as relatives in Canada, are not acceptable as proof of sufficient funds in the provincial nominee class. Bank statements you provide must be recent and show transactions for at least 6 months preceding the statement date.

A full and detailed explanation from you of how you will become economically established in Canada. Please describe in as much detail as possible what you have done to prepare for a possible move to Canada as well as what you would plan to do after you arrive in Canada, and how your particular circumstances will contribute to your ability to become economically established. Your explanation must be written by you, in your own words, and not copied from someone or somewhere else. If you already have a job offer from an employer in Canada, please provide proof, including a current offer letter, full details of the job title, its location, the job duties, and also an explanation of the process by which you obtained the job offer. If you have professional and/or trade qualifications, provide evidence that these qualifications will be recognized for employment in Canada.

Please submit a language proficiency test result from the British Council IELTS test (www.ielts.org) as conclusive evidence of your language ability. A review of your English language proficiency, based on your application and all of the information you submitted in support of it has found your material to be inconclusive. Although there is no formal assessment of language proficiency in the provincial nominee class, how well you can communicate in English or French is important to work in Canada and therefore to your ability to become economically established.

If you have work experience in your field of education or training, describe exactly what you did in your job. Your description must be written by you, in your own words, and not copied from someone else.

Please submit all of the requested information at the same time, as your file will not be reviewed until submissions are complete. If you do not submit the requested information within 60 days of the date of this letter, your application will be assessed on the basis of the information already provided. This could lead to your application being refused.

Please include a copy of this email with any information you send.

Kind regards,

Hi Ume Rayan, Thanks a lot, this letter helps.
By the way letter says there is no requirement to submit IELTS results with application under PNP program but in Alberta it is manatory, may it not be the case with other provinces.
I submited my IELTS certificate in 2010 to Alberta. That certificate is now more than two year old. In case I'm asked to submit IELTS to CHC London, should I submit that old one or I will have to retake the exam?

Best Regards

Adnan

Hi Adnan

The letter states that "there is no formal assessment of language proficiency in the provincial nominee class" which means you dont have to have some specific band, mostly 5 band is considered sufficient for PNP & if they are asking you to submit it, then there is no other choice left.

Yes IELTS was not mandatory for other provinces(like I didnt submit it with my application) but now its compulsory for all applicants to get a PNP nomination since 1st July 2012.

The forum member who shared this email is Alberta Nominee & he submitted IELTS in 2010 already. But still CHC London is asking him to submit it once again & now hez retaking IELTS as his old IELTS has been expired too.

But I must say once again that CHC London is not asking for IELTS result from each applicant. So you can wait for their email, if they ask you to submit it once again then retake it otherwise dont. Im waiting for their email too but side by side Im preparing for IELTS too.

I hope it helps.

Thanks Ume Rayan for your detailed response.
I think I should get a date for IELTS exam, retake it and keep a fresh certificate ready, in case I'm asked to submit. Initially I got oveall 6.5 band, hopefully this time I could maintain same band. I think CHC can not set a requirement of higher band (say 7.0) for PNP amid processing, even band 5.0 would be enough, as you said. In this way I could save like a month to provid IELTS results.
If I don't get a new IELTS before I'm asked, I will feel under high pressure when asked which may affect my proficiency as well as it will dealy the processing. What is the con of getting afresh IELTS without being asked? it is just its fee.

You may have different approach, anyway we are sharing ideas with good faith.

Best of luck.

Adnan

Yup its better to retake IELTS before they ask for it to avoid delays.

Well in my case its not just fee, but taking time out for something which Im not even asked yet, seems difficult to me. I did Academic IELTS few years back & got 7+ band so I hope I'll be able to manage it once again(if asked).

All the best.

This is a copy of email I received from London High Commission:

Dear XXXXXX,

In order to continue processing your application, we require the additional documents listed below. Please send clear legible photocopies rather than the original documents unless otherwise specified. If the documents are not written in either English or French, please enclose a certified translation with a photocopy of the original document.

- Documents #1, #2 and #4 listed in our attached letter

Please forward all requested documents together to the address below within 60 days from the date of this email. If we do not hear from you within that period, your application will be assessed on the basis of the information on file and your application may be refused. Please allow four months for us to review incoming correspondence. All documents submitted in support of your application are subject to verification with the issuing authority. Please do not contact us unless there are significant issues which need to be brought to our attention. Please quote your file number on all correspondence, including the envelope. Your file number is included in the subject field of this email.

Should your personal circumstances (address, marriage, divorce, birth, death, adoption) change between now and the time you leave for Canada you must report the changes to us. Visas issued without the correct information concerning family status are invalid and admission to Canada will be refused.

Following is the attached letter with that email:

Dear Applicant,

This refers to your application for permanent residence in the provincial nominee class.
The information you have provided is insufficient for a visa officer to be satisfied that you meet the requirements for immigration to Canada.

The provincial nominee class is described in Canada's Immigration and Refugee
Protection Regulations (IRPR) as a class of persons who may become permanent residents on the basis of their ability to become economically established in Canada and who intend to reside in the province that has nominated them. Notwithstanding the nomination of an applicant by a province or territory, the federal government has the final authority to select immigrants in the provincial nominee class.

Please read this letter carefully and provide precisely what is being requested; if you provide incorrect or incomplete information, it may result in your application being refused. You may already have provided similar information to the province as part of your nomination process, but please provide the following (T) to assist the federal government with its assessment of your eligibility under Subsection 87 of the IRPR:

1. (__) proof of your own money available for you to settle in Canada. If you do not have your own money, you may be inadmissible to Canada for financial reasons for your inability to demonstrate that you can support yourself or your dependants. Financial guarantees from third parties, such as relatives in Canada, are not acceptable as proof of sufficient funds in the provincial nominee class. Bank statements you provide must be recent and show transactions for at least 6 months preceding the statement date.

2. (__) a full and detailed explanation from you of how you will become economically established in Canada.

3. (__) Please submit a language proficiency test result from the British Council IELTS test (www.ielts.org) as conclusive evidence of your language ability. A review of your English language proficiency, based on your application and all of the information you submitted in support of it has found your material to be inconclusive. Although there is no formal assessment of language proficiency in the provincial nominee class, how well you can communicate in English or French is important to work in Canada and therefore to your ability to become economically established.

4. (__) if you have work experience in your field of education or training, describe exactly what you did in your job. Your description must be written by you, in your own words, and not copied from someone else.

5. (__) if you have been nominated under a Family category, provide proof that your supporting relative is living in Canada now and has been for the last 2 years. This should include: pay slips issued to your relative by their employer in Canada and bank account statements in your relative's name, showing their residential address in Canada. Please note that copies of documents such as driving licences or passports do not, by themselves, prove where a person lives.

Please submit all of the requested information at the same time, as your file will not be reviewed until submissions are complete. If you do not submit the requested information within 60 days of the date of this letter, your application will be assessed on the basis of the information already provided. This could lead to your application being refused.

Please include a copy of this letter with any information you send.

Sincerely,

High Commission of Canada

From above mentioned documents, I have to submit Doc # 1, 2 & 4.

I hope it helps.

Thanks a lot. I have another query. I hope you dont mind.

Actually I received AOR on July 9, but so far Im not able to access my E-CAS status even after entering my UCI & File number too. Is it ok? What can I do to activate it?

Regards
