Any one asked for interview for study permit application

Hi

do any body have the idea that why Canada high commission asked me for interview for study permit application. I submitted my application at 08 May and it was received Singapore office at 11 may and today, 17 may they asked me for interview at 12 June at Dhaka , high commission. I am fully funded student. I am afraid what the reason behind this call.

Any one have that experience. Please help me for preparation of that interview.

They will be probably asking you about why did you choose this university? why did you choose this program? why Canada? why didnt you take the course in your country? some questions about your funding.. how long are you gonna stay? I've submitted my online application on April 20 from Qatar and didnt get interview nor medical request yet.

No i did no submit any additional letter of explanation type document but I clearly mention in my SOP in introduction part what i am doing and my responsibilities. also mention that I enrolled for Mphil program and i am continuing , i also submitted a letter from dept head and from my supervisor that i am continuing my study.

I had to go for an interview on 22nd March this year.
VOs call for interview if they r inclining towards giving u visa but there is some aspect of ur application tht is troubling/confusing for them and they want clarity abt tht frm u. Most VOs ask for a written clarification but some do prefer interviews. No need to panic/get scared. Just make sure u r clear abt al aspects of ur ap. Y ur going. Wat ur studying in canada. How r u going to fund. Wat wil u do upon return. These sort of things. And u'l b fine.

You shouldn't b worried, just make sure all what u
Wrote in ur SOP u know them.
And u should ask urself questions.
Put urself in the position of the interviewer.
If you have genuine intentions don't even worry.
