I filed my Application SDS Pakistan on 16th May 2021..age 38 ..IELTS 7.5 Overall..did BBA in 2007..doing jobs since 13 years almost, at middle level management positions..got admission in MBA Finance 2 years in UNB for Sept 2021..paid fee and GIC too..did upfront medicals on 2nd june and biometrics on 8th june..on 9th july my medicals were updated and on same day VO asked me in a PDF letter to submit proof of purpose of travel and asked to submit back till 19th july..there was no mention of refusal of approval.. I replied back( although it was obvious that purpose of travel is for study and Acceptance letter attached) in detail with purpose of travel in the given time but from 19th july nothing has been updated in my profile. My classes are from 1st Sept. So do I still hope or defer to January 2022? Or should i consider it a refusal or can it be accepted too?? Why the decision is so late?

If your classes are offered online, and can still get a refunds for refusal, then go for it. Otherwise, better to defer.
Unfortunately processing times have gone for a toss and it's difficult to predict when the approval will come. According to the UNB site, it's possible to defer your enrollment https://www.unb.ca/gradstudies/admissions/covid-19-faq.html
I suggest you contact your faculty right away as you have little time left. Enrolling online also seems to be possible but do check the refund policy in the event SP is denied.

Yes its MBA at Fredericton campus..no GMAT required in my case.
Ur right but iam worried even more about the decision and why is it on pending after I submitted my answer to VO about purpose of travel? What ur experience says @ wonderbly.

Its Aug 28 I guess in your Home Country, Friday. Technically there are only 2 working days before fall start day. Though course registration is open I guess until Oct, but you'll most likely miss 3 weeks or a month of studies from when they approve and issue PPT, until you receive you passport and make travel arrangement. It make sense to defer
