I reckon, he wants CIC to notice that he has 764 points and they will issue him a Willy Wonka's golden ticket for an ITA out of sympathy....Chill out "Mr. 764"... u will get it..sooner or later...whining won't solve a thing, neither will false hopes...Peace

Only if he really wants CIC to give him red carpet entrance to Canada on a private jet lol

Actually, having only 164 points on core human factors shouldn't be celebrated.

Haha, couldn't agree more.

Envious of his bonus 600pts though!

True indeed, but this is not the question, the question is is he going to get an ITA? he doesn't think so .... :P

I think the 3d draw will be held tomorrow night as usual, the number of applicants invited will be 779 as ususal and the score will be 800 +/- 30. It's exciting, isn it? :) It's feels like you are trying to predict the results of an important hockey game.

realistically, a guy with 1200 points can miss out on ITA over a guy with the lowest like 800. The first draw had 3000 in the pool for the draw in which 1 out of 4 got their ITA's. So even if you have 1200 points it could take 4 draws to get ITA?

At least thats how i see it?

where you gettin 3000 from.? , also how you make out 800 get in before 1200. they dont just pick a random point number they pick a number of people at starting with people with 1200 points they work down until number of people decided has been reached. if 779 people in last draw had 1200 then the min points would be 1200 needed and so on..!! haha im not giving out either just making a point ;D ;D

Well, from the CIC news story. 10000 applied for the first draw and 3000 got into the pool. THEN they draw out 779 people.....not by highest but by a DRAW...which means its RANDOM within the pool.

Its still a draw! Which means some people dont get picked and must re-enter the pool for the next draw.....and they might not get picked then either...because its random!

man, no way it is working that way... everywhere it is clearly stated that TOP CRS score is invited first, so this is false information... EE is not green card lottery, but serious immigration program :)

I dont see how it could be random like this..!!! once ur profile is accepted and u on jobb bank you are accepted in the pool. 816 was point number so any1 above got in so no sign of randon here..!

Its INDIA vs PAK.
So give yourself a time off, stay calm (for a day) and enjoy the game.

pardon my ignorance, what's "pak"? Pakistan? What game is it? Nothing is more exciting than a Saturday night CIC EE draw! :)

This is not how it works, you should hit the score and above to be chosen. It isn't random. That only means that during that time there were only 779 applicants who have that score or above that score. The pool is always open and applicants condition changes (they either get a job offer with LMIA or get a nomination which increases their respective scores - only the weight of these two factors matter the most I think after you've qualified to make it). Remember that the new immigration program favors applicant who will likely succeed in Canada.

lolz A.B.123 very true...everyone's eyes is on Saturday :o ;)

Some people think 779 is lucky number and they also thinking what is the magic behind 779 number but, I think 779 is not lucky number. It seems like they decided , that will pick 779 high ranked applicant in every draw. It can't 779 number pick up automatically every time. .
