Any Edmonton 2019-2020 Applicants get Online Testing invite?

Called cic today
I applied june 8,2020 Aor November and in progress since dec16 2020
Agent said all verification are still under process and once its completed i will get notification for test. Told me its just a waiting game.

They are still processing 2019 applications. Though I don't think that their processing order is predictable!

What is the status of your online tool? Does it still show everything "In Progress"?

Yes, it was from Edmonton. I had a little issue with my test link so I contacted them. Surprisingly, I got a reply within a day.

Big NO ! Opening or closing the province doesn't affect the speed of the process from my own observation, they will do it whenever they feel like doing it.

Correct. Here is my wild guess on why slowness in processing: If economy reopens fully then cic workes will say that they are afraid to go to work and might get infected and if the lockdown happens then they say that its lockdown hence they cant work and process the files .

On a serious note, hopefully they process 2019 & 2020 applicant's test invite at least this year.

If I am so afraid of getting infected I will get a vaccine to protect myself and honestly anyone who is afraid of getting infected will go for the vaccine now, we all know that covid can't be used as an excuse right now to not return to work as the vaccine is available to anyone. It's unbelievable to see how some people are so okay with this COVID excuse from IRCC.

Trend suggests , historically and statically Edmonton has always been slow ! They might have instructions from somebody not to process citizenship applications (imo). Now i have come to realization that with covid or without, working from office or home they are gonna work at their preset pace which is one or two applications every month. Super hopeless

I have to do my fingerprints over again , but I'll still take the W for today.

Oath updates? No. I'm hoping that they'll resume soon.

I now passed my Citizenship test (20 out of 20), and fingerprints will be done in a few minutes. Hopefully we'll all get an oath ceremony soon
