It is written Student. Visa type is S-1 (Multiple). Moreover, I also received one letter from Embassy giving details of my Study permit.

Hi Everyone,

Please can someone tell me, how much should we show in bank, if we are planning to apply for a student visa.

The reason is i am planning to go for a graduate diploma course which is of two years, and the total tuition fees is of 25k CAD$. And does applicants from india need to show home ties. because I was born and brought up in UAE, I don't know what kind of home ties does, i need to show if asked to.

Please Reply......... ::)

Is it because your passport is expiring same date or it is based on your schooling period?

It is based on my study duration.

Perhaps, it is more than one year. My classes will start in first week of October and will end next year October. But my visa is issued from 29 April 2014 to 30 December 2015. It is a multiple entry student visa S-1.

additional of 60 days upon finish of your studies. Tha's good. I hope this new rule for Student permit will not impact me so much.

Do you and your family travel yearly to your home country (idk where you're from)? This can also be proof of home ties, and can be seen by the VO through the stamps in your passport. Another one is your parents' properties back home or any important relatives/family members residing back home.

Hey Ali I've two queries regarding Ielts and fees:

While submitting ielts is it okay if I submit ielts trf copy for the visa application?

So I'm going to apply for my visa via in person by submitting the documents at vfs global Kuwait. Is processing fees paid online? The information given in the UAE site is misleading to the point that it says I need to pay 150CAD including temporary resident fees
http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/UAE-EAU/visas/fees-frais.aspx
Nothing is mentioned about how to pay the fees.
Whereas the cic site says a 150 CAD has to paid towards student permit and 200 towards temporary residence permit. Nothing is mentioned about how to pay the fees here as well.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/fees.asp

Kindly advise.

IELTS copy would be fine because they won't return the documents if it's approved or rejected.

you have to pay the application fee in the counter where you're submitting those application papers.
