Guys and Gals, pls help.

The ones who had their applications reopened... Did u get the refund before it happened? If so, did they ask you to pay the fees again?

I'm confused. Very confused. Whatever scenario I think of, it gets complicated. And if I do get an ITa while waiting for the case to eventually be reopened, will it confuse the system?

It seems as if this rejections are a scheme to get rid of work.

I still can't believe it took them almost 3 months to realize I didn't upload the doc, that ironically is the first on the list. And on the other hand.. Ppl are getting it all done in less than a month.

This would depend on the work load of the office processing your application. The rules say you must submit a complete application or your application will be rejected. It's their ball game so you have to play by the rules.

ECAS showing 3 lines.
the medical line updated on April 2nd

Medical passed in my cic on April 1st
AOR received Feb 26
bckgrnd check changed to In Progress a few days later (less then 7)

I submitted the CSE yesterday with the missing docs.
And I got an email a few minutes ago that my application has been submitted, logged into CIC , but there is nothing. The app is still cancelled, empty lines, no message.....

ECAS over all status would be either Application Received/ In process. Im trying to understand where in which stage its cancelled.

1. In process --> Application Received (In this stage your application is cancelled due to PCC missing)
2. In process --> Application Received--> In process (In this stage your application is cancelled due to PCC missing)

First of all, yous should at least be thankful that you were able to have another EE profile. In my case, after I've done all the steps and submitted my profile, I got a message that I'm illegible despite that fact it is exactly the same information I've uploaded under the first profile back in Jan.

Now back to your fears - if you have submitted your CSE yesterday May 19th, in the message that you have received to confirm the submission, it should state how long it will take until they reply to you (in my case was 28 days). so if we assume it is 28 days, you didn't get a ITA yet since there has been no draw since couple of weeks, and even if you get the ITA anytime soon, you have 60 days to submit your application. Technically you should get a response to your inquiry before the due date to submit the new application. You can upload all the documents and wait on hitting sent until the 28 days pass....

The 28 days might not be in the letter, it may be in the web page itself - I don't really recall but here is part of the message I got:

(Timely and efficient processing is important to us. We receive an enormous amount of correspondence daily. Although we would like to respond to all of it, we recognize that it takes resources away from finalising applications.

To minimize the impact that replying to enquiries has on processing times, we respond only to correspondence from people who have already applied for a:

Ø permanent resident (immigration) visa
Ø temporary resident (visitor, temporary work, study) visa or permit.

Kindly note that we are not able to acknowledge receipt of documents, changes of address, and other case-related information. We can assure you, however, that the new information you provide will be placed on file.)

Did you get anything similar to this??

First of all , I haven't done a new profile yet. I've got the email in my inbox just after submitting the CSE, and this is what it says about the answering time :
The turnaround time for a response is of 10 business days for online technical difficulties and 30 business days for case specific inquiries.

The message I got this morning was an update regarding my existing application. But there is nothing new in it.

to naga.msbi:

THE ECAS status is application received, I have never seen it be in progress.

my ecas still has 3 lines, my profile is canceled, documents submitted, final decision not started. I sent them an email, they said 10 days to hear from them.
