My spouse and I are finishing up our application package here in Canada and we are only missing her criminal records from Peru (her country of origin).
We are trying to obtain a copy via her mother, who has a Carta Poder in order to be able to do such things on my spouse's behalf. I don't see why this is being so difficult, other than the fact that paper work in Peru is not always so straightforward.
Anyway, I am just hoping that maybe one of the people on this message board can help us in the event that they've obtained a Certificado de Antecedentes Para Uso Nacional from Peru while they themselves have been in Canada.
If you have been able to do this, please tell me how. Thanks so much for any help you might be able to give me.
