Hello,
I have a quick question that I am hoping someone would know the answer for. I am the representative on my parents' application that is sitting in one of the officer's desk in Ankara since May of 2012. There has only been one communication by the office using my work email address. I am moving to another city and both my address and work email address are changing. I know it was a mistake to use my work email address in the forms. My question is how we should change them now? Has anyone tried changing address before? Should I make my inquiry using the following link?

Enquiries
General: ankara-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca

Case specific: https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/cicemail/intro-eng.aspx?mission=ankara

New Delhi LVO had incorrect email for me ( mistake from CPC-M ) - I missed AOR, I emailed them asking to correct. They acknowledge, put notes in GCMS that they will correct and yet 8 months after episode, they still don't change it, I miss my passport and meds request on time and my file was delayed. I made a panic call to them ( where they never transfer to immigration ), they then changed it and asked us some additional docs
Basically, don't trust anyone

Does anyone know If they might ask for a proof of sponsor's income before issuing the visas?
Thanks

Have you provided it when you applied for Sponsorship in CIC Mississauga ? They should not ask you again, unless you did provide it when you applied for sponsorship back in 2008...

Hi guys, I got my GCMS notes. They requested some doc in 2012/12/12 and update the file and requested the same doc in 2013/06/17 but I never received any communication. I emailed them and they sent the request after that.

which document they asked for?

They asked for transcripts for all studies at university for my sister to make sure she has been a full time student.

How old is she?
did you provide the letter showing that she is a full time student before?(when they asked to send all application again back to 2012)

Yes I did. She was 22 at that time. I got the GCMS notes that i found out my file needed the transcripts to be completed in 2012 and they did not send me request for that. The GCMS notes gives you some good info about your file.

What email address did you send your request to?

I had a very similar experience. I realized from GCMS notes that there was a request sent asking for transcripts in December but I never received it. I filled out the inquiry on Ankara's Embassy webpage and made reference to the GCMS notes. They sent the letter in January and I responded to the letter in Feb. No communication since then. In a recent GCMS, the receipt of the documents has been mentioned.

[/quote]re-ankara-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca and you need to write the file number and date of birth of applicants.

did you sent any transcripts before ? I heard from the lawyer if the depend child was less than 22 years old when you applied it does not need to be student continuously but i called CIC and they did not confirm it.

The lock-in date is the date of your initial application. If the dependent child was less than 22 at the time of application, you would not need to send the transcripts. However, it is best to send the transcripts if your siblings are still students or became student after the age of 22.

I am on the other "russian" forum and it seems that parents which file in Ottawa or Moscow normally receive medical in a 2/3 max. period after approval sponsorship. It is SO upsetting ... :(

If anyone have news?
