Hello Guys. Posting this since I am really confused on what to do now. hehe..

I am considering on getting PSW at Anderson college toronto, it is a 40 weeks program. I am worried if this is a good step. i am a registered nurse btw.
they offer 1 academic year = 2 semesters. and i believe as what i have read in forums. PGWP is only max to 1 year for this program right?

is that one year enough already for me to find for a job to sponsor for temporary working permit?

thank u

Yes, you will get 1 year work permit max. And I don't think one year is enough(but don't quote me on this,I hope you get responses from people who have more knowledge on this) If you have the option to choose a program which is max 4 semesters (2 years),do it.

This is a private college. So you need to be careful since not all private college programs qualify you for a PGWP. Private colleges also tend to offer lower levels of education and be not well regarded in the eyes of employers. You'd be better off picking a public college.

thanks for the heads up guys.

just one more question. does pgwp to another temporary working permit possible?

and what If someone is willing to hire and sponsor you after graduating a academic year would that be possible?

thanks again

Sure - possible. But if someone wants to hire you after your PGWP expires, they need to obtain an approved LMIA. This is a long and expensive process - most employers aren't willing to do it.
