An overall average grade of B or above (as assessed by country, to Ontario standards)

Greetings members and Experts,

I completed my Bachelor of Technology from JNTUK University, India. I am looking forward to study PG Diploma. In most of the admission requirements there is an overall average grade of B or above (as assessed by country, to Ontario standards) criteria. My query is how can we know grade equivalence of my college degree to Ontario standards as it changes from Universities to Countries.

A B average in Canada is equivalent to around a 55% or second division mark in India.

Also keep in mind that the minimum marks posted on university websites are often the bare minimum they are willing to consider. Being above the minimum does not guarantee that you will be accepted.
