What does US CBP have to do with this? Annoying...

"one entry/exit to USA for a day trip was missing"====CBSA doesn't have exit record but CBP does have US entry record. That was what I did when I went to my interview.

Not necessarily, it depends on the date of the travel.
Recently CBSA is getting entry records from the US, which means they have "exit" records (as long as the trip is to the US).

you have spare few days...
