Today I complet 12 months from the day we applied this application. I feel sad coz I really miss my husband .we didnot see each other for 1year and 5 months .elhamdolilah for everything . BTW. what about mohammed123 he should hear somthing from the VO the end of April as his MP told him. Enshallh kheer ya rab .I
really wish him to.get the visa coz he waited so long

Here is what I think is happening:

if you application goes smooth, i.e. No more documents are needed, medical record is not expired, payment for the PR fees is done, no issues with suspicions about marriage. Your application will be done in 14 to 16 months. and that happens with 30% of the applicants

If you have any of these things it will take you about 20 months.

Salam how are doing??? I just want to know should I pay the PR FEES NOW or when they Approve my Application, and Which is better I pay it now and I send the receipt to the Embassy or I just wait until they ask.......

hi abdmoh, i think your anaylis is wrong ,for example i complete all requested documents from the beginning but they requested the iraqi citizen certificate again and requested the medical because its expired and i think all of us have the expiring medical now .your anyliss mean that all of us must wait till the end of this year and i dont see this correct.sorry but we need to hear anything positive not negative like that.

hi you should pay the fees from the begining all the fees coz when they reqeust the fees after that it will delay your application

There should be a reason why they asked for your Iraqi citizen certificate again.

From what I remember, if the only thing that is holding your PPR from being approved was your medical, they will extend it and approve your PPR. If you have some other things missing, they will ask you to renew the medical. Then they will re-evaluate your file after they receive everything.

I think your time when your application was different than now in the way they process the application right now as example, you can't redo the medical now without a letter or e-mail from the embassy to request to do the medical. In addition the Iraqi Citizenship certificate is requested from all Iraqi applicant in as you can see in the forum. By the way our officer request to extend our medical but Paris they ask for doing x-ray only, so your application time is not like now and each day is different and you know you are in Canada and each day their is new law and new procedure with all visa category.

now they are telling me I should hear about the visa in june-july!!
