I Finally got my wife's visa and she arrived in Canada last week (15 april)



June 4 2011 - Dropped my huge application envelope at the post office.

June 29 2011 - CIC Received my application

On August 24th - Met the Federal requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Application forwared to visa office abroad.

October 1, 2012 - CIC started processing my application

April 15 2013 - My wife is in Canada

How r you ? I did my wife's medical the same time you did yours. Months ago on e-case status I noticed this: " Medical tests received " . Though it is expired now, she is not going to re-do it unless the embassy ask her to do so. Wa inshallah they soon call you for the visa.

Can some one clarify Question 7 on Schedule A – Background/Declaration (IMM 5669)?

For the Education section, they ask for "type of certificate or diploma issued" and ''field of study''

how should i answer them? i will write Bachelor for university, and engineering for the field of study, but what i should write for secondary school? bacaloria or what?
for ur info. my secondary school was in Iraq.
then for the field of study for the secondary school?should i write scientific stream or what?

september-19-2011 ---received documents
DEC.19.2011 --- approved for sponsorship
march -- application transfered to Amman, Jordan from syria
January.21.2013 --- his application being processed.

please let me know of any information of how much longer it will be

my wife have a PR in Canada and she's going to sponsor me,now we prepare for the papers and she will submit the application soon to Mississauga, we have a question and we need ur help please.

we read this sentence in the Country Specific Instructions (3911):

"Additional details for residents of Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon and Syria
(Certified translations into English or French required, with copies of the original documents.)
IDENTITY AND CIVIL STATUS DOCUMENTS
Civil status certificates for the principal applicant, spouse or common-law partner and all family members. Lebanese civil status documents must be certified by the chief of the civil status section of the relevant Mohafazat."

my question is what they mean by ((all family members)) did they mean my father,mother,brothers and sisters because it's not logic to send all their civil status certificates after translating them and they will not accompanying me, it's only me who will move to live with my wife in canada? so can u please explain this to me? my wife said yes we should send them and the photocopies of the first 6 pages of the passports for each one of them.
any suggestion please?

and her file been in process since January 23 2013 on Permanent Residence Application Status

I have been told it take 1 to 2 month before making final decision for visa
