abt the address, me too i wrote an address (since it was required too) but i checked that i want it electronically and also in the email i sent i asked that again

and yeah for me too it was the first time; did u also submit proof of ur status in Canada (like passport copy)? they need that when u ask the first time

yeah that's what I am wondering because he killed himself over getting a visa.

Yeah I sent a scanned image of my passport. I'm interested to see what has been completed within the 17-18 months ! Will keep you posted and thanks dear good luck to you as well

Yeah, So I talked with him today. I misunderstood the first time around and he told me that his case has been opened and they require his wife to redo a medical examination. So all that was requested from him was a medical examination and no ppr has been issued yet unfortunately.

my e-case finally changed today to in process, so they start process the same day i had my interview. i submit the ( Certificate of Good Conduct issued by the General Intelligence department ) today the visa section was closed but i handed it to the security and they drop it in the box inside and say they will send it to the visa section sunday morning.

We received your application for permanent residence on March 29, 2011.

We started processing your application on October 7, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

I have officially hit the one year mark from the day I got approval for sponsorship. I don't know if I should congratulate myself or feel super depressed that it has been a year! I have waited for a lot of things in my life but this has to be by far the worst type of waiting.

What is "gcms notes " ? and what do we need it for and how?

Musab thanks alot for the very good information u wrote about the interview. It's very helpful to all of us and it helps us avoid making mistakes. Such mistakes may make make the visa officer suspect that the marriage is not genuine. So let's help each with whatever useful info we have

Toady I also like others noticed a chane on my e-case. it says a DECISION MADE" and "A Permanent Kit " will be send to you . Is "YOU " me I am in Canada or Is it my wife who is in Iraq ?
Also : What is this Permanent Kit ? Any idea please ?

Hey the notes give you an idea of what work they have done so far on your wife, such as which process they have started and which ones they havent.

Also if it says decision made, do you mean for approval for you as a sponsor? Because I have that as well but not for PR just for the approval to sponsor my husband, so I am not sure. When did you apply for your wife?

Maybe this link would help you about the Permanent residence kit, maybe you forgot an application or something I am not sure...

congratulation, and you should be happy, i want to tell you something maybe going to make you happy, they said 19 months to process its just a joke, its all depend on luck, when i had my interview i guarantee that was the first time they touch my application, its only take about one hour to finish the application, i went to the embassy after 14 months and asked about my application and was untouched yet thats why the officer told me he going to take a look on my application again Why because they never check before and when he find the police check expire he ask me for new one, so maybe your turn or anyone turn will be next, just pray to allah and he will listen to you, i think this long wait is only test to see who will last and who will fail.

Salaam . Thanks for the help. I checked the above link and all the required forms. All the required forms for me and for my wife I filled them all and I took them to my wife in Iraq. I also took my wife for medical check and Police check . Then I came back to Canada and put everything ( complete forms and documents ,for me and for my wife ) in one envelope and mailed it to CIC in messissauga and that was in 24 Feb2012. In May 2012, I received a letter from CIC that I was approved and that our application was sent to Amman. As I said yesterday I noticed a change on the e-case . On both : my sponsorship page and on my wife's application for Permanent Residence page , on both of these it say " Decision Made " . Do I still ne the Permanent Kit ?
Am I doing ok ? Any idea how long more my wife will be contacted and how ? Hopefully it won't take that long again. and from what all Iraqis write here , I believe that the V.O. in Amman is speeding up our applications and Insahallah Kheyr

my husband do the same as you he took every thing with him and returned back to canada , we also got our aproval on 7-8-2012 , but i have no idea about the how much time we have to wait the only information I know when i called amman embassy and they say: the whole process take about 18 month from the day you started (the day you submitet it) .
