abt the medicals no we did not redo them yet; actually after the new bulletin in july 2012 and new directives abt the medicals i was thinking that it's better to wait at least 15 months; during this time they could ask for extension and automatically extend them 1 more year; or they would ask us to redo but maybe not the complete medical exam maybe only the xray (know other ppl who had similar experience recently); now if after 15-16 months still no news then maybe we can think to redo them; but for now it's stand by mode keep in touch and good luck!!

thats great news missmini!, my app still shows application received. i will be ordering new set of notes in mid February. did you redo medicals ? or are you waiting for the embassy to email you ?

GCSM notes provide more details on your application. instead of getting application received you get a full 24 page document about your application.
it will tell you if they got your medicals and will have notes from the Visa officers.

I really do not want my wife to travel just for the medical.

I know it is called International Organization for Migration but no address on Canada CIC website on phone number but never answer the phone when we call:

leave it with her, although now they won't ask you to send in the paper now. It's somewhat different now they will be notified from Paris that you did the medicals.

I would suggest leave it with her because INCASE she needs to send it it's easier for her to send it from Iraq than from Canada to Jordan.
