hey I'm looking to book flights for my wife when she gets her visitor visa but how do I do that? Do I have to pay for the ticket?? Cuz they need receipt of. When she leaves Iraq and when she goes back what's the best to do this

Hello Ayad;
You can always use a Travel and Tourism Office to get a "Confirmed Ticket" without having to pay even a penny; but you have to promise to go back to the same office to purchase the ticket if you get the visa.
If you'd like to have it done at an office in Amman, I can help you with that.

When did I get the AOR?
we got the AOR well actually its the message that the sponsoring is got accepted and that they sent the application to Damascus office in October 5th, 2011 and i have no clue when Damascus office received it.

How about u pal! how did u know the date of receiving?

We also got the letter but october 9 or 11 I can't remember the exact date right now. You can call them and sk when they sent it out to damascus. Ours was received March 28 by Amman!

I am now in the process to sponsor my husband.
I am a Canadian citizen and he is now residing in Amman, Jordan
I am living in Canada and i did do the sponsor ship in Canada when he is residing in Jordan. The reason we did do it this way because we were told this would prove out intentions to establish our life in Canada and so that i would settle down and start preparing for our life here.
It has been a very hard process and the distance is unbearable but since we have begun it this way we are being as patient as we can with this.

09/19/2011 Our application was first received my the Mississauga office .
12/19/2011 I was approved to sponsor him and his papers were forwarded to syria.
03/12/2012 I hear from the office that the Syrian embassy temp. closed therefore my paper were transferred to the new Amman, Jordan office.

We thought at first that the transfer would be beneficial because its in the country i am sponsoring my husband from, BUT we have not received any notices since.
The status for the papers in Jordan is still stating Application Recieved

my inquiries about this is...
My husbands medical exam just expired. should i send a new one? along with his criminal check.
if there any possible way to see how close they are to starting his papers?
and i know that it is within the time frame and there are many people ahead of me (my wishes go out to all those who have been waiting longer and have not heard anything, that you be reunited to your loved ones asap!)
But is there any possible way to see how soon we would hear from them??? It feels that we have been waiting forever!!
