Amman - Spousal Since January 2012 or Late 2010

i applied in april 2012 and i got my approval on july 3. thats it thats all

i dont know if my file reached Amman or not and i dont know how to find out

also i have a question to ask you hopefully you will know the answer
my husband is currently in syria, now if they send an interview appointment where will it take place? because as we all know the embassy in syria is closed

mabrook ikat, u actually got the sponsor approval in around 2 months!!!! that's very good and fast; i know ppl who applied recently who waited even 4 months!!!!!

i didn't get any response from amman (aor) that they do have our file; it should have arrived around 6 weeks before urs and i just assume it's there if u get any news from them pls let us know

also, if ur husband is called for interview (i hope not) the interview will b in amman (since damascus embassy is closed and not safe anyway); so if ur hubby wants to leave syria he can - the only imp thing is to make sure he updates the embassy with the new mailing adrress - just to make sure he gets all their notices

Just wanted to know when in April you submited your application. I only ask because I also submitted in April between the 17th-20th ( depending how long down Canada post delivers ). I looked online under processing times, and it looks like they are currently working on applications submitted in early April

This Embassy doesn’t answer calls, even if the receptionist picks up the phone she will transfer you to a voice message telling you to send a fax or email if you want to inquire about your file!

Try to send email, or keep calling them until they fade up and answer you !

You have to apply for a visitor visa, it’s a different process than sponsorship, unfortunately the chance to get the visa is low if you have a sponsorship application in process, BUT some people applied and got it! All I can tell you try and see what will happen!

elsalm 3likom, i applied for a visitor visa while i wait for the pr and after 2 weeks they sent email for me that they refused because i had file in immigration, i said that for you to save your money, but if you what to try it`s up to you, and enshala your wife get accepted.

thank youu missmini the only thing is my husband is iraqi and its very hard for an iraqi to enter jordon so i was just wondering how it works! also my husband cant leave syria ( its a long story) . i know its dangerous but sometimes he thinks he will get pr much sooner if his life was threatened!! i wish it was true but unfortunately thats not the case!

hey cknd, i sent it on april 3rd ( through expresspost) meaning they were supposed to get it the next day but when i got the approval, they said they got it on the 5th of april! maybe they meant they opened it on the 5th im not sure. good luck
