Yeah so after our file was waiting in limbo for 3 months I personally went and handed our papers to the embassy and I made sure that they were received inside the immigration section. After a couple days we got request to do a re-medical and now we're just waiting for PPR hopefully. But it's been around another 3 months since we've submitted the re-medical.

Yes unfortunately it is wish we could do something to change that. Maybe ask them to be more effective in terms of time management or maybe a more effective and organized system.

It seems like all VO are working on sending the PASSPORT REQUEST in 3 or 5 months process expect for Iraqis.... It's really unfair what they are doing especially with people who have been waiting for years to get their spouses to be with them in Canada... Would it possible to speak with the Immigration minister directly to process our applications faster..??? our spouses went through HELL and so many other things, but yet they aren't given enough consideration.....

I've emailed him.. and got no response!!
my husband is Jordanian, so who knows! I've spoken to MP office and all they said is we have to wait

It's clear discrimination and we have no choice but to wait. They just don't care. It's a shame
Trust me,It has nothing to do with the Syrian refugees. It's only because you are from or living in Iraq or Jordan or a few other countries.We sent my husband 's new medical and police clearance 50 days ago and nothing since then! Other VOs contact you in less than 10 days. It's not because they are busy, it's because we're not important enough( not urgent) ,but people from most countries are!!! I don't know what to say!
They're discriminating against us and we have no power to stop it.Terrible feeling I just hope this suffering ends soon because I don't think I can take it much longer. Going crazy

I will be writing a letter as well... we can always try to book an appointment and gather all people from Amman group so at least we can all speak abot our issues. SOMEONE told me that he has an office here in Markham...

Applications from 4 years ago?!!! What does it mean? What are processing times for then?
Our applications are in Romania. We are not the priority there because our processing times say 22 or23 months and theirs says 14. We have to stay in the line longer.
