Really? The interview was in February 2014 and till now nothing? If you have a lawyer contact him/her or contact the embassy. That's a very long time. What's your timeline??

So I want to send the documents by mail to the Embassy in Jordan and my lawyer is telling me to bring $70.00 Cash to pay to fedex to pay for the shopping. What the...?! $70.00.. Since when is it $70.00 to pay for paper shipping? That is too much. Sorry. Anyone send documents and paid Way cheaper than $70.00?!

My lawyer. But I don't believe it's 70$! I used to send large amounts by express from Canada post for 65$.

Hi All,

Anybody for Application submitted in 2013 and recieved in Amman Visa Office?

My application was submitted February 2013 and approved as a sponsor March 2013.

Hi everybody, am new here and i need some help and advices if it possible due to my sponsorship situation.

I have received an email today telling me to submit documents and my wife passport:

Your Original valid passport(s) with at least one blank page.
· 2 recent photos (35mm x 45mm, white background).
· Your Original Iraqi Citizenship Certificate and your Iraqi Original ID.
. NOA from Revenue Canada for your Sponsor for 2013
. Employment letter and proof of income/salary for your Sponsor

Please submit these documents within 30 days of the date of this email. Failure to provide the requested documents within the given timeframe could result in the refusal of your application.

The expiry date of your visa will be 2014/07/02 OR the same expiry date of your passport (whichever comes first). You must arrive in Canada on or before this date, it cannot be extended or renewed.

the problem is that i am still looking for a job here in Calgary. So I do not have Employment letter
Also, my wife now is in her 8 months of pregnancy and they are saying that her visa will expire on 2 of July 2014 and will not be renewed or extended if she does not arrive to Canada in this date or before. In which gives me no time and i am confused about the short period of visa.

Please could anybody advise me what to do i will appreciate it. thanks

What's your timeline? When did you apply?

I guess she got her PR, but if her passport expires July 2, 2014, can't she renew it now and then send it to them? When my husband got the multiple visa, we renewed it before he got the visa stamped. She has to renew it now.

Also about your job, show them that you are still looking. Include that you applied online. Like apply online and send them a print out that you applied for a job. If you don't find a job or show them they will think that you cannot support her. But anyways, show them that you have made a profile online and sent out resumes online. Print out your profile and print out when you send in the resume. This is the best way. Also, show them your notice of assessment, this is good too. I think they asked for that.

For me, I am pregnant 7 months and I had to quit my job because I am at high risk. I proved it well for them by including my appointment paper from the high risk clinic and hospital. Also they asked me for proof that I will stay here. Anyways let me know how it goes for you! Good luck!

Hi soso23 and thank you for your reply and advices

for my time line i have filled the application on December 2012 but i have applied and sent thr application on 8 of March 2013 (first stage of sponsor eligibility) and my wife done her medical exam test at Baghdad on Feb. 2013 and they told me that i got accepted on 8 of April 2013 and they sent my file to the Embassy of Canada in Jordan. the status of my wife application changed to (in process) on 25 of March 2014. then i got today this email which wanted a lot of things to be send to them with a short period of time.

the passport of my wife expires on the end of 2020. i don't know why they said that her visa will be expired on 2 July 2014. and it will not be renewed or extended. do i write to them that my wife is pregnancy in her 8 month and if i able to sent the documents in time she will then entered her labor time and she will not be able to fly or travel.

thanks

They want her to fly to Canada before July 2, 2014?! How many weeks is she? She can fly before 31 weeks. And then arrange for her a new OB and hospital so she can give birth. I don't think the visa what I believe is that she got her PR and she only has until July 2, 2014 to fly. That's what I believe.

First do the resume and print out that you are still looking for a job, and when you send that as well as her passport with photos write a letter that she is pregnant with this many weeks and provide a letter from the doctor stating that she is this many weeks pregnant and is advised to not fly until the birth of her baby.

The Embassy of Canada in Jordan doesn't know that my wife is pregnant because i did not tell them yet. and yes you right about the the type of visa because they said in the email that the visa of my wife which i believe also is the P.R. visa will expire on 2 /7 / 2014 but why to early i thought they give almost a year to be expired !!!

" The expiry date of your visa will be 2014/07/02 OR the same expiry date of your passport (whichever comes first). You must arrive in Canada on or before this date, it cannot be extended or renewed."

my wife is now on her 30 weeks and expected to deliver on 10 - 15 July 2014

I know, they should give a year but they expect the applicant to be before the date they give you. The best thing is to send all documents they asked for and include a paper from her doctor stamped and signed that she is 30 weeks and is not advised to fly until after her due date. Then the embassy will send you an email and extend the visa. Or give the visa now and fly before 31-32 weeks!

Hun, how long did it take to get your police certificate? Because its taking forever for my husband. He has someone back home who can get it for him but its taking forever. They keep saying next week and next week and we only have until June 9 to get everything. Ahh I am so scared.

Did anyone send it for you to the embassy? and how? This is the only thing that we need now. Everything else is done.

Hi everyone...! I am new here but have been following for over a year...it saddens me deeply to see how much pain and suffering we have to go through just to be as one with our loved ones. I applied for my hubby Dec.2012.... Sponsorship approved May 2013....to this time I have heard nothing.... It seems my MP is rather useless in his attempts to help.... I have gone through some health issues since a car accident and require major surgery August 12th. It appears I will go through this procedure without my husband :( .... As of today they have not started processing nor requested 2nd meds.... I pray for patience, this is so frustrating..... Thank you for letting me vent.
