Currently the processing time says 20 months ... but from what I'v been seeing and hearing .. it's closer to 13 -14. So by the time you finish your 1st year of University, inshallah your husband will be here

Best of luck to you

Inshallah it will take that much and not actually 20 months, that would be so great.

Thank you so much for your advice!

I totally agree with abdmoh. I honestly think you should just start with the sponsorship asap. You could use this time getting your application ready. Looking for the fastest way isnt going to help as a lot of us tried that many times and failed. We all just ended up sending applications to sponsor our spouses from Amman.

I dont know much about the work permit or visitor but if you havent heard, the foreign services are on strike and its only getting worse. I believe the inland applications are affected. So if you do want the work permit or whatever, you will be affected by the strike. Please correct me if anyone thinks im wrong. Amman isnt being affected by it, at least so far.

If you do decide to go with the outland sponsorship from Amman, make sure you provide as much proof that your relationship is genuine and dont leave any gaps to avoid delays.

i dont think the fact hes in the military is an issue but with the securitt check it might take longer. This might not be true in your case because everyones case is different.

We ALL had to wait and none of us can expedite the process. So my advice just stop wasting anymore time and get started with your application. You need all this time and before the strike gets any worse.

We are all here to help so if you have any more questions dont hesitate to ask. Good luck

Thank you so much for your advice! We will just get started asap.

Hi anjun,

my application was recieved in mississauga PC on Sept, 2011 And got the approval on Nov. They also started processing my husbands app on jan 2013 and were asked for 2nd med's on march as well. Back then whenever I contacted them they would tell me i'm in security check. So dont worry, being in security check is a good thing. Inshallah you'll get the PPR soon.

In iraq you can only do it in baghdad at ibn albitar hosptial. Their number is : (964) 7817 945 794 or (964) 7702 503 459

Why on the panel physicians list on the website, it says there are none in Iraq?

to be honest I dont know why it says that I have never seen it before but when I got an email to redo the medical, they included a number and it said baghdad. so my husband called them and it was in ibn albitar hospital. he already completed it.
