I am surprised that mine has not even been looked at. No email or nothing and my time line is around the same time as yours I am hoping they will send me something so I can finally be at ease that they are at least overlooking it. Miss Mini do you suggest I call them I have sent so many emails none of them get responded to, this is very frustrating.

i don't know really; i don't think the secretary answering the phone knows much abt what the officers r doing with ur file and why they ask for something or not; she will just give u a generic answer; as for the email, i heard before that if the applicant is sending the email the chances of answering r higher; so let ur wife send and ask; also u need to give them at least 3 weeks for them to reply!! they r really not that many people working there; if they would just answer emails and calls they would never have the time working on the actual files :
also maybe they don't ask u anything cuz maybe the officer is satisfied with what u already sent; have it ready if u want but send it only if they specifically ask; but not the medicals (those might b automatically extended) and not the police certificate (which expires); this is what i would do

if u r in Amman u can just drop them directly at the embassy; that would b the best i think; good luck!!
i think they need to see the officialy translated paper - maybe by email won't b enough

this question is for you missmini, did your status change in ecas from in process to complete after the visa office gave you the visa?
and please if anyone's status changed from in process to final stage or complete, either when they request the passport or after receiving the visa?

yes u got it right; from our case and from what i saw for other people no matter the embassy - the status changes to "decision made" (complete) in the moment the visa is issued and stamped in the passport; when they request the passport (ppr) and until they get it the status is still "in process"
if the status changes to "decision made" without requesting the passport that could mean a rejection or maybe withdrawal

Does anyone know exactly how long it takes to get the sponsor evaluation approval? It's already been 2 weeks since I sent in my file. Feels like months and months. :'( I guess I'm not as patient.

That's too much !! I'm sorry you had to wait that long. I need the approval to come out before the end of May . I am leaving to see my husband in Amman.

Kindly note that we have received the Copy of the Nationality Certificate .Your application is under the normal process.If we require any further information or documents, or when a final decision is made, we will be in contact with you immediately.

Pleas can you tell me what is that mean . Is that a good sign
