A person of Indian citizen (living in canada since 8 years) is going to get permenant resident visa of canda.S/he had married in India before getting her PR visa. During submitting of his/her passport for stamping to visa office, s/he intentionally doesn't inform to visa office that s/he is married. i,e s/he hides his/her marital status and not inform the marital status to embassy of Canada government during submitting of passport for stamping.is it offence according to Canada government? what punishment is possible for this offence?

It's misrepresentation. If someone applied for PR as a single person and is now married, they must inform the visa office, return the visa that was issued to them as a single person and submit the required paperwork to add their new spouse to the application. Once the visa office has reviewed the new spouse's paperwork and approved the new spouse for PR, new visas will be issued for both of them.

If the person does not inform the visa office about their new spouse and lands in Canada on a visa that indicates they are a single person, this is misrepresentation. There are two main consequences to misrepresentation and failing to add their spouse to the application before landing: (1) their PR status can be revoked for lying about their marital status; (2) they will never be able to sponsor their spouse for PR.
