Hello everyone! I hope you are well
I apologize, as I have been unable to find a number to call on the website itself!
So I am an international student completing my final semester in Canada, originally studying Mathematics and Statistics but now that I'm in a Human Behaviour/Applied Psychology program, I'm in healthcare! I've been offered a part-time job opportunity so I need to amend the conditions of my study permit.
Before winter break, I completed my medical test before my application, then was conflicted on the form as I was unsure if I was using the right one (since it said apply or extend study permit not 'amend' and I was worried to make a mistake). However now for Winter break, I had to travel home to renew my passport and other documents before my graduation this summer.
Now that I am outside Canada (but will be back by the end of the month or early February), I am worried if I should be using the application form that says "Within Canada" or "Outside Canada", even though I will be back before the estimated processing time is completed and would like my new study permit to be sent to my Canadian home's mailbox. I really do not want to make a mistake as I am hoping to apply for a PGWP after this April, so I want to be cautious and follow the instructions properly. My study permit and visa are all completely valid, so I do already have a study permit/am a student in Canada, but I'm unsure if that "Outside Canada" form is specifically for those without a valid study permit yet or have not received previous approval.
I've tried to search for this case but couldn't find any information? Anybody sure of the answer and could let me know what you think please? Thank you in advance!
PS. I'm also unsure, do they even amend study permit conditions if you're in your final semester or the study permit is due to expire this July?
I could always just wait till I'm back in Canada this month, but it definitely means risking missing out on this job offer.
