A few days ago I got the email that I have been approved and that our package has been sent to Vienna. Since I have been approved does that mean more than likely everything should be fine from here? Have heard that it's the biggest obstacle to overcome usually besides completing the damn package itself. Have heard someone say in the past that it pretty much means your spouse will be approved once you have been to be the sponsor. Is there any truth to this?

Being approved as a sponsor does not really mean much, since the vast majority of sponsors are approved. Once the file has been transferred to the VO abroad, Vienna in your case, that's where the real processing begins. Stage 2 is where they check the applicant's background and where they evaluate the relationship.

Agreed with the above. The real processing of the application has yet to being and will be completed by Vienna.
