I am a US citizen applying for inland PR and I just got my OWP approved a couple days ago (yay!!). My family really wants me to come back to the States to visit but I am NOT leaving the country unless its guaranteed I will be let back in, lest I risk my application being denied. I understand the permit itself doesnt guarentee me re-entry, but being a US citizen travel visas for canada never applied to me before. So I'm wondering if anyone knows what a US citizen with a valid work permit would need to be guaranteed re-entry, or if there will always be a risk for the boarder officer not allowing me back into Canada (until I have a PR card) ?
