So, I haven't received my Biometrics request yet, and I know that most biometrics collection points are still closed, but I like to try to plan things ahead. The nearest Biometrics collection points as per the Canada website are more than a 5 hour drive from me. I am aware that you can request dispensation for the Medical Exam if there are no panel physicians within 250km or a 4 hour drive, so I was wondering if there is anything similar for giving Biometrics. We're approaching winter already and I'd rather avoid driving 5 hours in the snow if I can (in addition to it being best practice to limit traveling in COVID)
If anyone has any experience with either the medical dispensation request or having your biometrics taken outside of the collection points in the link below, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
