Hi,

Can you help me about my situation. Anybody experience this in their E-CAS that appear below? If the VO start processes the application how many months that it will take to have a result because when they post my medical results last year october ill wait the notice but this january 2012 they said that they started to processing my application. So, I just want to know how many months that it will take the final decision then you have to receive the notice from CIC. Anybody who can help me for my situation.

We received your application for permanent residence on February 15, 2011.

We started processing your application on January 5, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

That means that final decision has been made. You were supposed to have gotten a letter or e-mail for RPRF and passport request. Make sure you didn't miss it.

hi,

How many months when I will wait?

If I judge by my experience, you were supposed to have been contacted even before the status has been updated to "decision made".

Again, make sure you didn't miss it. If CIC contacts by e-mail, check again, and check your Junk e-mails. Otherwise, you might want to contact CIC to request a status and last communication.

CAN WE ASK CIC FOR THE LAST COMMUNICATION THAT WE HAVE? HOW WILL WE KNOW THAT WE MISSED AN EMAIL? THANKS! IM WORRIED ABOUT OUR APPLICATION. WE HAVE THE SAME TIMELINE BUT UNTIL NOW I HAVENT RECEIVE ANY UPDATES. IM EXPECTING TO RECEIVE OUR MEDICAL REQUEST. =(

Also consider adding CIC's email address in your "safe list". I would send an email to inquire about your application and avoid using capital letters(like you have below) as that usually means yelling which you do not want to do with immigration officials.

Lastly, when it comes to immigration, no two cases are the same and your timelines will hardly be similar. Many factors can play a role e.g e.g. security and background checks, etc. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about it except to have lots of patience. Goodluck!
