Allowed to stay in Canada ?

I have all the requirement for the PR but I am a student my student visa expires next year can I stay in Canada and still apply for PR as a Skilled Worker / Professional Immigration dose my statue change from a student or must I leave Canada as soon as possible ?

you don't have to leave canada unless you want to or the visa is expired, whatever which is sooner.
